I forget what phrase I was Googling. I obtained a library card from the City of Orange in California in September of 2013. I believe it was the following year (2014) when I stumbled onto CC the first time. Regardless of when it actually was, I was accessing the site from a desktop computer in that library. Back then there wasn’t the abundance of pros in my chosen area, so I deleted my first account. I returned in 2017 after meeting @AutumnLovesYa through another cuddling firm. I decided to take a break from September 2018 until the join date on my current account.
Pretty sure I found it through Google! Seems like that's how most people come across it, which is interesting.
In late 2013, I had heard on the news about a local cuddling service that someone started in my area. Earlier this year, I was Googling online for cuddle services or something similar and came across this site in the search results.
My cousin recommended it to me because he thought I was, "touch starved". I had no idea that, or this (platonic cuddling) were things but he was soooo right!

I caught a Youtube video about Scott Baio going to a cuddle party. It was torturous for him (def not a hugger). 20 minutes worth of following Youtube suggestions led here-

I found it through Craigslist. A pro-cuddler was promoting her cuddles on Craigslist and told me about the site.
@introvme I like this thread! Perhaps a follow up is to inquire how "the cuddling community" became an interest? I believe I came across a news blurb and for a moment thought, huh what'll they think of next... Not until much later did it appear that I've been missing essential components in my life that could be supplied by cuddling. I first needed to shed unhealthy beliefs about sexual intimacy, actually an ongoing process. I suppose by the time I get my emotional maturity straight, it'll be time to keel over. Oh well. It's a journey.
