Are you able to be aware or control your dreams?
Not often these days but when I was younger? Oh yeah I was Morpheus incarnate baby!!! Lol
Lol
Yes very much so
@verona whatβs out favorite thing to do while lucid dreaming? When I was able to, as a kid, it would be flying
Planar travel hands down, the shadowed ways and diamond highways lead to so many unique places.
I had a super vivid one the other night, I only noticed something was wrong when both my dogs looked like one of them, so I turned to my mom and said "I'm either asleep or hallucinating" and she looked at me and said "you're asleep" then I woke up
As far as I remember, I think I've only had a couple moments where I could control part of a dream.
Yes
@introvme hey mine too. Once in a while. I somehow found out in my mid 20s i could intentionally send myself into that vibrational lucid dream state. I think i was reading more about it at the time and was trying to astral project. I do not think i was very good at it. It is so weird when you're awake and asleep at the same time. I started not liking when unpleasant things would happen in the lucid state and i could not get out of sleep paralysis mode so easily so i stopped trying to do it. I also found out i can not always control my dream even if i know i am dreaming. I have more weird stories about this and look forward to hearing about others experiences as well.
If I dream, I don't remember it.
Awesome Post! Love it! To me that pic is "Astral Travel". I love becoming lucid in dream state. I've had some interesting "waking dreams" so to speak.
One that I'll never forget happened around 2011-2012... I was in this horrible place. It was a very run down neighborhood and everything had erupted into chaos. I was lost in this neighbor and I was trying to find safety or get out of there somehow. Eventually these people on motorcycles came roaring up to me. They had these wild face tattoos that looked like masks and they were carrying crowbars and bats and other weapons. They were about to attack me and then I heard this voice say "Raise your vibration, Raise your vibration and you will overcome this". I started to think about how I could do that I and I tried to come from this place of love and then just as they were about to attack and kill me I floated up and ascended out of the dream. It was very interesting.
I had told a few friends about the dream back then and one of them contacted me this year and mentioned that dream I had back then and how 2020 with the masks and all the chaos really reminded them of that. They told me they use that as a mantra in rough times. I was pretty shocked they had remembered.
To those who can't remember dreams... Keep a notepad by your bed and as soon as you wake up just write down very quickly in point form what you do remember. Eventually you will be able to keep a dream journal with techniques such as this and it will be easier to become lucid in dreams. That's what helped me!
@lovenlight Funny you should mention that. I just put a pen and paper by my bed yesterday for the very reason you mention. Cool dream. i had some pretty crazy ones too that could have basically made a tv show or movie from if i could only remember the whole scenarios. I am always getting chased by bad guys too,
@Invisible_Touch That's super cool! Wishing you the best with remembering those dreams and chasing those bad guys away!
I like to have a really dim lamp next to my bedside too. I can flick it on if I wake up in the middle of the night and want to jot something down quickly and then turn it off without it affecting the circadian rhythm too much and keeping me awake for the rest of the night. That's also the reason I use a notepad and not a phone or tablet.
Speaking of light switches... I heard someone once say that if you set a "control" for dreams then you can train yourself to instantly become lucid. The example of turning on a light switch was used. Apparently if you find a light switch in your dream and try to turn it on and it doesn't work then you know you're in a dream and you can then become lucid. Or... your power went out and you're actually awake!
