Hygienic - Recently showered, with deodorant, and teeth brushed are just a given...
Physically ~ The more touchable and varied types of real-estate the better. Squishy but strong and can sustain their attentiveness through waves of activity intensity.
Mentally ~ Some degree of intelligence and an ability to participate in conversations. Smart, but not so smart that it gets annoying ~ Humility and a sense of humor are huge!!
Emotionally ~ In touch, grounded and available. Can handle, and is welcoming of, whatever version of me may show up or surface.
Schedule Availability ~ Can appreciate and entertain five hours as a starting point for the amount of time we'll be entangled. 🤗

Perfect? Nah not in my wheelhouse. But a great cuddle mate will be squishtastic (this means an outer layer of soft and squishy with that solid feel when you dig into hugs and snuggles) Has soft touchable skin that just compels you to caress it (in appropriate ways, I know how this reads lol) has curves to trace.
Is open and real and expects/ demands the same, makes you feel safe enough to let down at least some of the walls and returns the act in kind, is equally happy having a meaningful discussion or just chatting about any interesting topic at hand as they are just enjoying the moment in silence or ambient background noise and shares my love of looong cuddles cuz I'm with @quixotic_life on this one four or five hours is a fine STARTING point for cuddles. Me addicted to cuddles, preposterous (that's far too weak a word lmao)
Don't let the way it reads fool you it applies equally to what ever gender one identifies as (I like my male cuddlers rare as they are on the soft and curvy side as well)

The clocks are not there they're out the window she sometimes she sits on my lap and I put my arms around her waist I stuck on my chest against her arms and she's wiggling then she lies on top of me her head against my chest or cheek to cheek she would goes she presses against me then she puts her hand on my forehead then we do it and reverse for I'm On Top I am the big spoon moving around then she is the big leg entanglements and all the positions I read in the cuddle dictionary
