@xandriarain you make an amazing suggestion @ “I honestly wish age wasn’t even listed” ... I think this will be very beneficial in every direction (the site / professionals & enthusiasts alike) hopefully the team at CC considers it.
@SuperSnuggler2 I too am 51. If anyone says older isn’t as energetic, then they have never cuddled with me. I have to remind some to breathe while I’m hugging lol. Hug like you mean it. I have no age preference. I’ve cuddled from age 27 to 70 and there is no difference in my eyes. To me hygiene and clean breath is top priority. I think this is a great topic. 😌

💯!!!
@xandriarain "I want to do this until I can retire"
Assuming a retirement age of 65 ... cuddling someone with 40 years of professional experience and 1000+ karma would be amazing to me.
@xandriarain I agree with @respectful. And I'll bet you will have built up quite a following over those years of people who just love your brand of cuddle however America's Top Model your bod is.
I'm about to be 46 and have a varied age range of folks who have cuddled with me . I would like to think that I am just as positive an experience for them as the next person regardless of their age
And I can attest that @SuperSnuggler2 can out snuggle most folks half her age!
@xandriarain thank you for being open/vulnerable to bring up that women can "age" out of cuddling. Stating generally, there is an “age old” double standard of women become less desirable as they age, and men become more desirable. This issue is definitely seen amongst celebrities.
I agree that I wish age was not listed. I could easily lie and fudge 6-8 years off my age, but I choose to be honest, even though it may cost me cuddles.
Thank you @pmvines for adding to my testimonials!
@SuperSnuggler2
thank you for being open/vulnerable to bring up that women can "age" out of cuddling. It's the age old double standard of women become less desirable as they age, and men become more desirable.
While acknowledging that aging is a sensitive subject for women in particular, I don't think it's this simple. I don't think the average 40+ year old man is dealing with hordes of women pursuing him. The large majority of men will never experience being as desirable to the opposite sex as a decent looking 25 year old woman.
@CuddleMeLater you are right. I was speaking in broad generalities. And it's not that aging is a sensitive subject. It's that the media/society/etc. have continuously supported the notion that young = desirable and old = not desirable when it comes to women. I follow several GORGEOUS women on Instagram who have BEAUTIFUL silver hair and they continuously get people telling them they look old and they should dye their hair... #caseinpoint
And, yes, I do believe my age hinders my ability to secure cuddle clients, mainly because I’ve been told that very thing (see OP). But, again, I won't lie about it. And those fools are MISSING OUT. lol
OK, before things get out of hand, let me make it clear that I listed ‘ younger, cuddlier, prettier, etc.’ as examples of preferences. I never said that any of those things equals ‘better’. A paying customer may, can, and will ask for her/his preferences to be met, more than one who gets something for free. A Pro who expects an egalitarian attitude and acceptance from a paying customer is not being fair or realistic. That was my point.
@Spock
I never said that any of those things equals ‘better’
That's literally exactly what you said:
they will expect something better (younger, cuddlier, prettier, etc.)
Now I'm perfectly willing to believe that you meant these were preferences that some people, not necessarily you, might see as better... but that requires some extra interpretation of your comment beyond what the plain words say.
@CuddleMeLater Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt, but it does seem rather patronizing when you imply that wanting a Pro cuddler to be ‘pretty or young’ is somehow wrong. How is this worse than any other preference (gay, mature, etc.)? It reminds me of the saying ‘if an ugly woman strips, she is brave, but if an attractive woman strips she is a slut’. I also noticed that the politically correct posts ignore the critical distinction between enthusiasts and Pros.
@SuperSnuggler2 I think your problem of ‘older men being more desirable’ is easily solved. Women (and gay men) can just agree to pursue poor young men instead of rich old ones. Women determine which men are attractive, not us men. I have a dream, of a world where women stop pursuing wealth and power, thereby making older men just as undesirable as old women! I’m being facetious, but you got to admit there is some truth there!
@xandriarain I wouldn’t worry about aging out if I was you. If you provide comfort and healing, your clients will stay with you as you age.
@DrCuddleBug (men paying expect something better, which means younger (among other things listed)?) Again, I did not say that younger is better. It was listed as a possible preference. And, any person who demands less from a Pro (who gets paid) than from an enthusiast (who does not see a dime) is not a very smart customer.
@pmvines (Sad to hear people equate younger as being better. And that paying to cuddle means age determines the value). Where did you get that from? ‘Better’ simply means more of what the client ‘prefers’, whether it is more pretty, more mature, or more chubby. Getting paid to cuddle is a privilege, not a human right, and customers have the right to pursue what they desire without being shamed for it. This is supposed to be a community of enthusiasts bound by the love of cuddling.
@Spock because that is essentially what I got out of the words that were said . I'm not being offended . You are being defensive . Who cares really. I am not going to debate with you about the meaning and context of your words . If you lack the awareness to realize how you come across it is your problem to own , not mine .
Seems to me there's precisely one thing that makes for a better cuddler, someone worth paying for:
More interested in making sure you enjoy the cuddle than in having the best time possible themself.
That's a nice summary. Peace
I think the meaning of ‘prejudice’ is being stretched to the limit in this thread. As I stated clearly in previous posts, a preference is just that. Nobody’s preference is better than anybody else’s. No Pro should imply that CC’s requirement to state their age is losing them clients. If they offer a beneficial service, the clients will come. If not, maybe this isn’t the career for them.
/s. If we truly want CC to be a ‘prejudice free zone’, we should eliminate other potentially prejudicial info such as sex, sexual orientation, pet status etc. (I can only imagine the hate cat people must get from dog people 😱). In order to protect everyone from prejudice I recommend that CC remove all information from members’ profiles. Then, only those who can ignore superficial details and see equal value in all people will be allowed to be members! Even better, ask members to prove their ‘worthiness’ by requiring them to accept all cuddle requests, Refusal to cuddle with anybody, and everybody, will be taken as proof of that member’s unworthiness. Hell, CC even ask members to ‘report’ on each other to keep everybody in line. That would be a ‘prejudice free’ paradise! /s
The example above takes this ‘prejudice’ idea to it’s obvious and absurd end point. It would be better for the community to accept that all of us have preferences (whether explicit or hidden) and stop judging members for the choices they make about their personal lives.
@Spock: All of us do, indeed, have preferences. And so long as these preferences don't lead to us picking purportedly platonic partners on the basis of whom we find most sexually attractive, there is indeed no need to censure anyone for their preferences.
In short: I mostly agree with you, but note that under certain circumstances negative judgement is called for—so let's not ban it entirely.
@DarrenWalker - What happens to my dream then? Oh man! I was really looking forward to leading the new ‘Truth & Justice’ commission. /s
But seriously, I do agree with you. It’s just that I am offended by a Pro implying that men who choose not to pay her to cuddle are somehow prejudiced. Pros should be grateful that there is even one person willing to pay them good money to cuddle, a skill so rare that literally anyone in the world can do it. I can understand an enthusiast sharing her disappointment at not finding cuddle buddies. But it’s just hard to be ‘understanding’ when it comes from a Pro.
Maybe anyone can do it, but how they do it sure varies. "Should be grateful" is sounding close to super f-ing patronizing. Let's not have another bash the pros fest. They are providing something that's needed and it's not all a walk in the park.

I hope you read my other posts where I clarify my meaning. If you still can’t see what I really meant, that’s too bad.
BTW, I am totally not owning the problem you mentioned. In fact, I deny it’s mine, and demand a Maury Povich style DNA test to clear my name! If you don’t want it either, just send it to the orphanage. /jk
@Spock says:
I can understand an enthusiast sharing her disappointment at not finding cuddle buddies. But it’s just hard to be ‘understanding’ when it comes from a Pro.
That's reasonable. Perhaps a different argument might ease the offense?
Both enthusiasts and pros can be hurt by the thought of being passed over due to a thing which doesn't affect their ability to cuddle.
A pro has promised to be more invested in their buddy's experience than in their own—this promise is balanced out by the money it costs, leaving pro and enthusiast on hypothetically equal ground when it comes to choice: a really good cuddle that you pay for is ideally equal to an average cuddle that you don't pay for. (What you actually end up getting in each case is, of course, a different matter.)
This leaves both pro and enthusiast on a level when it comes to rejection.
As a side note, block quotes like the one I used above are created by putting a > in front of the words being quoted.
@DarrenWalker - You are being too reasonable and correct. It’s hard to argue with you, so I’m taking the ball and going home! 😫 Good night!
PS: Thanks for tip about quotes!
From my experience people want to cuddle those they find attractive whether intellectually and/or physically. I don't personally believe either have bounds when it comes to age but others might and that's their preference and right. Yes men are going to want to pay cuddlers they find attractive in either sense. I can't fault them. Given if I was a male looking for female attention in the form of cuddling I'd probably lean towards someone I would deem aesthetically pleasing to the eyes as well.
With that said there are some very successful 40+ pros on this site who maintain a steady flow of clients and do well!
Your age may not be as much as a hindrance as your market, competition, availability etc.
I'm sure that some men prefer to cuddler younger women but I've definitely had my fair share of early 20's /30's looking to cuddle women who are 40+.

🥰👏👍🏻 Great comment!
@Envie: I've said it many times in this very forum, but yes—there's nothing wrong with being attracted to your cuddle buddy unless the attraction is sexual.
There are many types of attraction. Pick a buddy you're aesthetically attracted to, if you like, by all means! Pick one whose scent you're drawn to, or someone who you want to touch the way you want to touch a fleece blanket, somebody you're drawn to open up to emotionally, somebody you can geek out over Star Trek with... whatever!
Nothing wrong with preferences at all, at all. Nothing wrong with picking a buddy you're drawn to. ...Unless that draw is sexual. Because this is a platonic site.
@Spock: You're welcome! I googled "Markdown."
@littermate
"Should be grateful" is sounding close to super f-ing patronizing. Let's not have another bash the pros fest. They are providing something that's needed and it's not all a walk in the park.>
I apologize for offending you. I have read and liked many of your posts. Perhaps i should have said ‘Pros should thank their lucky stars’. To be clear, I am not bashing Pros at all. I acknowledged in my very first post that good Pros provide a valuable service, and expressed my gratitude for the cuddler who helped me.
But If a Pro starts a thread claiming that people are wrong to consider age as a factor when paying for cuddles, without any data to prove that this even happens, she should expect some pushback. Suggesting that men who choose not to pay for her services are guilty of ageism sounds pretty entitled to me.
