Can pros hide their karma?

edited August 2022 in Pro Cuddling

I see a lot of pros nearby who seem to have no karma, but appear to be active members.

  • Some pros just don’t have karma yet. I don’t think it’s possible to hide karma.

  • Weird, they seem very active and have been here a while. They also don't seem to respond to cuddle session requests... really confusing

@tacpmurg some professionals don't use Karma for various reasons. For example, I knew one who didn't because it gave her plausible deniability. "Yes ok, I've got an account but I don't do anything with it."

It's very common for professionals not to reply to messages. Don't take it personally.

There are many reasons why a professional may appear to be active (i.e. logging in regularly) but has no Karma. It could be that they are finding it hard to pluck up the courage to have their first session. Or they have sessions, but they break the terms of service so they want to try and stay under the radar. Or they are sneaking those sessions offsite without booking them properly. Or they get endlessly suckered in by the time-wasting endless chat merchants. Or they have priced themselves just a fraction too high for their market. Or they may just not be organised enough to go through the procedure of chatting, booking and then actually having a session.

This may shed a little light. Look at the first post on August 9.

My suspicion for a long time has been that most people listed as pros on this site actually rarely or never do cuddle sessions, for exactly the reasons you describe. There are lots of pros with no karma, even people who’ve been on the site for a long time and visit often. Plus most pros do not respond to messages.

  • You either have karma, or you don't. You have to have five or more karma for stars to show up on your profile image before someone clicks on your profile. You can not hide karma.

  • I concur with @CuddleWho's assessment that there are a lot of professionals here who do few if any sessions.

  • @xandriarain imteresting, does that apply to enthusiasts too?

Members cannot hide karma. However, they can request for karma to be deleted if it was wrongly posted. Karma is only supposed to be left after an actual meeting or virtual session or if a person was a no show/no call for an appointment. Sometimes people leave karma for a person because they did not like their style of communication or some other reason. That gets deleted because it did not fit the criteria for leaving karma.

Some pros do very few sessions.
Some members don’t know about leaving karma.
Some pros actually ask clients not to leave karma, though I’m not sure why.
Check when they joined and when they were last online. If they just joined, they haven’t had time to get karma. If they joined a year ago but haven’t been online for six months, they are inactive.
