This is very interesting... @StructuredQueryLanguage Thank you for the post and WOW you have been on the site for a minute! One of the Original types!
Speaking as a female ENTHUSIAST..... I have connected with far more non-hetero types here in this beautiful world of cuddles and one of my most favorite humans on this earth identifies as asexual. I have learned so much about this aspect of humanity than I would have ever thought. His willingness to be open and share his truth alongside my desire to understand even if I can't relate has been such a beautiful experience. There seems to be a wonderful option in this non-traditional idea of cuddling for all gender types because sex is taken out of the picture no matter what your tendencies are.
I appreciate the thoughtful community here that tries to learn and understand, accept without judgement, and hold space for people to be their authentic selves..... Whatever that looks like.
I am COMPLETELY AWARE that the whole community of Cuddle Comfort does not exist under this umbrella... but I appreciate the community that does. π
@CozyWolfy I am so grateful for your perspective. Thank you so much for sharing.
I love the beauty of the statement...
Being asexual actually covers a very wide range of sexual orientations.
Just like pretty much everything in this world.... when people try to narrow something down to an either/or it winds up getting all messed up. We are all beautiful in our unique way so how could we ever imagine that specificity helps us create more connection instead of more dissonance. We all have value. We all can choose kindness and love if we look for ways to use it.
Thank you for being a beautiful aspect of CC. πππ§‘π¦ππππΌπβ
Iβm not asexual. Definitely attracted to females. But, at my age and after going through a divorce Iβm currently no longer focused on the sexual side of things. This is why I turned to cuddling. I find it much more fulfilling.
