Do looks matter?

  • @waynewv A smile is definitely a plus for me, as well. I don't understand why so many guys post multiple non-smiling pictures. Personally, I know three guys who all hate their smiles/teeth and avoid pictures of them, but no joke, all three have absolutely beautiful smiles! It's so sad.

the eyes tell me so much of what I want to know. I think it’s more difficult to hide one’s bad intentions that show in their eyes.
If I see a calm sincere depth, then that will make me feel good about a session with them. Especially if I see openness.
I also have a thing for crooked smiles!
There is something so appealing to me about imperfection. (And not a big ego)
I read the expression he shows in this photograph. Also if he is doing something he clearly enjoys!

  • Yes! As superficial as it maybe looks do matter. But it doesn’t define an individuals inner qualities.

  • In the land of the blind the one eyed cuddler is king.

  • I think the answer to the question "Do looks matter" is a resounding YES! Literally to everyone.....the question wasn't "Do you only cuddle with generally regarded attractive people?", it was simply do looks matter. They do. Definitely for clients who are trying to decide with whom they are going to pay to cuddle....we are always comparing profiles and descriptions of those vying for our business and patronage. Are they only thing that matters? Of course not. Are they the most significant factor in selection? For some yes, others no.....but they do matter to some degree.

Now to the pros who insist looks do not matter.....well, perhaps they do not for you as regards accepting business. But, you must know that they matter to potential clients, otherwise you wouldn't post photos that you yourself find flattering, at least to some degree. You want the potential client to see your smile, a warm exterior, a facial expression that invites interest.....I see so many photos that accentuate a particular fashion style, an active lifestyle, in a bikini by the beach or pool, and lots of cleavage! Now those of you who participate in this forum may not agree, and perhaps do not post photos that accentuate looks, but the vast majority of women advertising on CC certainly do. Spend some time, take a look, get an idea of what many pros believe will attract a new client.

Now, for me, I'm MUCH more interested in reading the copy of a session description. I want to see how the pro articulates their art of cuddling. I want to see the detail of the karma left. I want to see the gratitude articulated by the pro in the karma of their admirers.....and THEN I want to see photos of warmth and smiles.

I recently cuddled with a pro who literally said she didn't enjoy touch once we began the session. I asked why she thought men would be happy to cuddle with her? She said because she likes to connect with conversation.....and that they would enjoy looking at her, as she both received feedback and thought of herself as quite beautiful. Well, needless to say, I did not enjoy this session at all! Was she attractive? I suppose so, but the lack of warmth and physical connection quickly diminished her attractiveness to me. In addition, she wore chemical perfume, so her smell was unattractive.

It's a complicated subject.....and though looks will matter in different ways to different people in varying degrees.....they DO matter!

  • Yes, looks matter. I view cuddling as cheating the dating scene and skipping to cuddles with someone you would have otherwise been comfortable dating or getting to know in real life, if you were ready for it. With cuddling you don’t have to get to know the person much, or date them or whatever, or get too in-depth, you just skip out on all that and cuddle them as you would have if you already did.

I see cuddling as a very close and intimate form of contact with someone, not something I’d do with the avg Joe. Something I’d typically only reserve for within the confines of a relationship. So if I’m skipping out on the relationship part, and all the non-platonic things that would normally follow it, at least, if nothing else, I can cuddle with someone I find attractive.

  • If Im looking for a relationship, yes. If it's for cuddling, no.

Generally looks are associate with attraction in relationships because you also want to be attracted to them in the bedroom. But if it's for cuddling which is just for comfort, looks aren't important because I'm not thinking about attraction.
I'm just thinking about comfort and relaxation.
