I am happy to hear you know about Blokus. I love that game but so far I’ve not found many people who are familiar with it.
Ransom Note is hilarious. Each player gets about 75 random words. Then someone draws a prompt card such as “explain why you were late for work” or “describe your favorite food”. Every player then has to answer the prompt using only words they have in their possession. Answers are then evaluated by a judge and the funniest answer wins that round.
@JohnR1972 it sounds like you need to take a road trip up to Philly. Swing by to pick up @Minestrone101 and we’ll all play Blokus. Ransom Note sounds hilarious. I have Punderdome, which is the absolute worst game in the history of the world ever and we can play that too. Minestrone101 is cooking, I’m making the dessert, what’s your specialty?
@compassionNcare - Remember all the fancy cooking shows that were popular a few years ago like “Iron Chef”? They may still be on, I haven’t seen them in years. Anyway, my daughter gave me the nickname “scary chef” 😂. I like to experiment in the kitchen but I have ZERO training, just a lot of curiosity and a sense of adventure and every once in a while something I make turns out fantastic… but much more often it is just edible (or worse). I don’t think you would want me cooking for you 😂
My gift is in “straightening up” and cleaning a room in record time to make it presentable for company. I’m also really good at hanging pictures level, professional photography and video production (but none of that is probably what you had in mind).
I love your photo on the camel. I have not made it to Egypt yet but I hope to some day, but probably not anytime soon because of… reasons.
A Philly roadtrip sounds like fun! I could stop by Amos Miller’s Organic Farm just outside of Philly and get some milk and Kefir while I am in the area 😊

@Minestrone101 @compassionNcare If we did it I could bring any dairy products to wash down desert. The best dairy farm I have ever found is right outside of Lancaster, PA. I haven’t been there in person but I have ordered from them and had it shipped to Indiana numerous times. I would love to visit them the next time I am in the area.
The offer sounds really tempting, let me see how practical it would be to make that trip for a Blokus party 😊

Bring dairy products - kefir is the perfect accompaniment to chocolate honey ganache cake. 😂 Maybe just some milk to wash it down. And it’s not just about Blokus, right? It’s about adventure. We can take a winter walk in the Wissahickon, too. Slumber party with 1950’s Godzilla and old school kung fu movies. I make a wicked good breakfast. Here’s to new friends in far away places… 🥰

Blockhead is or was my favorite game growing up, often playing with my Grandmother. We played Rummy, No Peaky, Double Solitair a lot also. I think blockhead kindof resembles cuddling, trying to put odd shapes (not talking body shape) together to try and build something therapeutic. Sometimes takes practice and trial and error to get the right fit and balanced.
Twister! Anyone used this as a form or method of cuddling?

@KamikaziNinja86 These are my kind of games! 😄 I host game night parties every other Friday at my house and we usually play strategy games like these. 🥳 I especially love Settlers of Catan, Wingspan, and Ticket to Ride. Gloomhaven is another great game that my group used to love! 😄
@AutumnLovesYa Ticket to Ride is one of my favorites! I need more friends willing to play Settlers… it was intro into more complex board games, so it always has a special place in my heart.
@compassionNcare Catan was also my intro into the complex European style board games. I literally have every expansion, even holiday expansions! 😂 It's more fun with 4 or more people, but it's also fun with 2 people! I hope you find more players to join in the Catan fun! 😊
