I think the thought is incorrect but I also don't care. This harms nobody.
edit-------- It is the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism though, so there's that.
When the world no longer has those bright sparks that look for the next frontier, of new discovery, and new experiences, I think we’ll all be poorer for it.
Space is ripe for all of that, and fires the imagination in a way that few others things do.
I don’t think it matters whether I agree with her or not about who she’s like to date. But I do find it odd that she thinks someone is self obsessed if they want to have a unique experience like going to space.
I agree
She’s free to date whoever she wants and set her criteria but damn that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard
Imagine having so many romantic options that you could ask these stupid questions
I think Olivia Rodrigo might be a little too full of herself, 🤷♀️
maybe she’s trying to find excuses not to date, because I imagine in this day and age, you will find a lot of people (men and women) who would say yes to that question-
But it’s the final frontier!
She may just not be into sci fi nerds
Well, at least her dates know how to answer it now (or to not go out with her in the first place). 🙄
@quixotic_life I was thinking about the fact that she broadcasted her disqualification answer. So, I’d love to know how many dudes still say they’d go into space having not learned anything about her dating preferences.
Sounds like a fun question to discuss but a "red flag"?.
If she truly cared, she'd ask it BEFORE going on a date. She just wants a free meal and to feel superior. Nexxxxxxxt!
Good candidate for 2024 Top 10 most meaningless posts. Is this really worth a post and a survey?
And who is this lady anyways? Is she supposed to be someone famous? how do you call them? celebs?

More to the point...what?
@DaveFromSussex I love the portal reference
Such a narrow line between one person's 'red flag' and another person's lucky escape.
Highly irrational from my point of view, and certainly not a red flag by any reasonable standard that I can think of.
I love some of Olivia's whispering tunes, but her incredible success is due, in part, to those roaring rockets that put people into space. She capitalizes on technology that would not have existed otherwise, and I'm happy for her that she does.
What @lovingspoonfull said is spot on,
-- [Edit: Capitalism isn't corrupt, people are. Capitalism has elevated the quality of more lives than any other economic system in the world.]
Wow. I'm going to space.
Certainty not gonna let reality hender my mindset. Space is not a place. It is a goal that presents unlimited options. An earth woman is great and all, but a chance to have limitless access to galactic features creates a choice vector that few women can compete with!
Except @KittyPukka ha!
"Space. It's huge. So huge, in fact, that if you lost your car keys in it, they'd be almost impossible to find." - Captain Copernicus Leslie Qwark
@IronLemon lol
I think about the astronauts who describe their experience as something that brought a great sense of humility and perspective to their lives and a new view on humanity that they hadn't known before. I feel I'd hope it would be a similar transformative experience for me too. I wouldn't do it as a vanity bucket list thing.
She is able to spread her nonsense thanks to the people who dreamt of going to space. Space race gave many of the technologies we use daily today a starting point back in the day.
Not something I truly care about. I do not see myself being able to go to space. I always thought it was cool, growing up with Star Trek. To me it comes across as a very weird criteria for dating.
Anyone who vs us that much of a frontier to go to space is not for me.i understand discovery and all that but there are certain creature comforts that are not available that wont live without. Once they get all that sorted I'll consider it an option but until they have running water and showers it's a no. And sometimes ne that could go without some of the things i have grown to love is just not for me.
Lol! 🤣
Well, I ask certain types of men who message me (elsewhere not here on CC) first...
"Are you a werewolf?"
😆
No worries, majority of these types NEVER EVER read my profile anyway, so yeah that is the question that I CHOOSE to ask when it comes to inbox interactions.😁😏
