Well now you're saying host when before you were saying pro and client.
You just agreed with me that it's totally fine that I'm not paying for hotels when someone reaches out to book a session with me. They are booking the hotel and pay for it. And then said the opposite. So I'm just trying to get a definitive here.
@weluvcuddles so you think that pros shouldn’t spread the hotel cost among multiple clients (in theory the more people they could book, the lesser that fee per person) but instead have the client host or provide the hotel room, each client paying the full cost of the hotel room? How much sense does that make? You’re still arguing that providing the hotel room, for a small additional fee, isn’t hosting, it is. You’re wrong, and unwilling to admit it. What you would like, is a fourth option to be added specifically for those who host using hotels. So why don’t you suggest that? To the people who could actually make the change? Instead of complaining about your minor annoyance. Read profiles, and communicate. Don’t demand to be in a strangers personal space. Your very first post said that the profiles mentioned using hotels, don’t contradict yourself now claiming that they didn’t.
@VAdude that’s just nonsense. If a hotel room is say $100, and say the pro charges an hourly rate of $100, like I do. They would lose money if you only booked an hour, because CC would then charge them $15. They would HAVE to have multiple people booked and hope they don’t flake. To make any money. Not all of us are always booking multiple people every day. So they’d need to increase their rate to about $200/hr, just to make $70. Or try to book multiple people and spread out that cost, and keep their hourly rates down. $100/hr (making $85) then the additional fee is divided by however many people are booked that day. Or a specific amount regardless of how many people booked, then they eat the rest of the cost.
Please, contradict me with whatever logic you think you have.
I for one appreciate any type of hosting provided by the pro, even if they charge. It saves me the effort and saves me money, especially for one or two hours of cuddling. I wish all pros offered hosting.
We always have a choice whom we cuddle with, including factoring in the location of the hosting. Don't want to invest in a hotel? Easy solution is, don't book with that cuddler. Those hosting can host wherever they want.

Reason I would host at a hotel
King size bed, hosting fee is applied because YOUR worth a nice hotel room and the staff that keep it clean deserve a nice tip. Also if you're only going to book an hour session and I'm hosting, financially its not very smart on my part but if you're doing more hours then I think its fair to reduce or eliminate hosting fee.
It is so common to see a charge for hosting at a hotel mentioned in profiles that quite frankly it is shocking to hear someone taken aback by it. But where there are people there will be complaints.

I’ve talked to some of my buddies who have suggested splitting a room and booking sessions with the same pro on the same day. I ran this by one of my pro friends and she said she would be okay with it with the stipulation that she booked the room in her name and had the only key and we would all reimburse her. I think it would work but I honestly don’t know if I’d ever actually do it. What do you all think about that idea?

@Morpheus I tried a few times to do the split between 2 or 3 clients in a night/ morning at a hotel. Problem is someone always cancels and no one wants to put money upfront or put down a small deposit.

I do hear what you’re saying. But the search parameters on here are already pretty extensive. Asking for even more filters broken out by fee type is a big ask. Google wouldn’t filter that IT service out either. In fact it would probably only include things in your area, as well as those 400 miles away because they paid for an ad.
So all in all I think the filters here are doing a lot of work. Are they perfect? Of course not. Nothing is. (I’d love an option to filter out creeps with bad intentions. 😉)
So much whining because someone clicked on a profile marked hist and that person in their profile says cannot, but only at a hotel for a fee. Why can’t there be another category that’s says host no fee! I’m too busy to be bothered by a click and it not be tailored to my exact specifications. Most people just get over it. To spend so much time over something so minor. Red flag for you pro cuddlers lol
@mauvefox no you are not understanding what I'm saying but just reading your own version of it. There's nothing wrong with the current search engine imo. It's users that falsely put they host but don't actually host, eg. They don't arrange a space for cuddling and ask the client to do so. I don't mind when a pro says they host but requires a fee to help cover costs. I have zero issues with that. When I search for cuddlers able to host, I just want results that come up with those who can actually host. Not sure why people are having trouble understanding that.
