New to this - Omaha area

Hello, I'm a bit new to this site and I'm just curious about a few things. Does it take a while to get something scheduled with someone? And do people prefer to chat and get to know each other first before planning anything? And does anyone in the Omaha, NE area know if there's a lot of people in the area that use this website?

I've only recently become aware of the whole idea of "cuddle services" and thought it was a neat idea. I've pretty much always been a very touch deprived person so the fact that this website even exists lets me know that I'm at least not alone in that feeling, it does make me wonder if there are any long-time users on here that have had a lot of good experiences as well, would love to hear some stories.

  • You can find people in your area under the Nearby tab. I used to live in the area and can recommend @kanneh as a great cuddler. Hope you find what you're looking for. Stay safe out there 🫂

  • @cuddlefaery you’re gonna have to tell me what you use here and how you make the links work so I don’t just have to keep tagging you.

    Teamwork makes the dream work.

  • @mauvefox you mean how I post the links?

I have a couple of my regular spiels saved to my keyboard's built in clipboard.

I use markdown text formatting to minimize long URLs and make it easier to read.

Here's an example I use with most of the resources linked:

I highly recommend everyone (especially new users and pros) read through the site TOS, the FAQ, the Help Center articles, the contracts for pros & clients, and all the stickied threads in the General and Pro Cuddling forums.

That text block prior to markdown being applied looks like:

I *highly* recommend everyone (especially new users and pros) read through the [site TOS](https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/terms/general), [the FAQ](https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/contact-us), the [Help Center articles](https://help.cuddlecomfort.com/), the contracts for [pros](https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/terms/pro-cuddler-contract/) & [clients](https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/terms/client-service-agreement/), and all the stickied threads in the General and Pro Cuddling forums.

  • Thanks! I tried to copy and paste but obviously that didn’t work. I have a snippet program I use. I’ll see if I can get it saved in there.

  • @jabaker If you're searching for an enthusiast (someone who doesn't charge for cuddling), it can take a long time. Most enthusiast women are very cautious about being alone with someone they don't know. It can take weeks of chatting and getting to know them before they are comfortable meeting you. A lot of men get frustrated and want to cuddle right away. If that is your eventual outcome, then you can look for a professional cuddler and pay for cuddle services. Most pros will book a client with only a small amount of vetting.

    Good luck.
