  • @cuudledragon People who get upset by the word "trigger" are typically people who lack empathy. The kind of person who demonizes the phrase by deliberately trying to upset people and then saying "Ooh, are you triggered?"

  • Just in general questions I dislike:

    1) “What did you eat?”

My mom would ask me this a lot. I don’t know why it irked me. Maybe it’s because it was a way for her to get on my case for eating just gummy worms for lunch instead of turkey, rice and broccoli? Or because people like to make jokes about what you eat? I just find it really annoying when people ask this.

    2) “Do you like it?”

This is one of those small talk questions in response to when you talk about your job, hobbies, where you live, etc. So many people ask it especially at social and networking events. I don’t know - it’s just a very redundant question and it really seems canned.

@CoachJMan19 I ask a version of this question prior to booking a session to ensure I can provide what they are looking for. I also give a few examples if the they feel the question is too vague. I would hate for someone to desire a certain experience that I am not comfortable providing, so I like to communicate and make sure expectations are clear prior to booking. For example if someone is seeking massages/wants to give massages or full-on boa constrictor position, those are HARD NOs for me. If they want back scratches, slowly evolving compressions or their hair played with I am happy to accommodate. I find it very important to over communicate to make sure I'm the right match/provider for the cuddlee.

    Questions I dislike:
*Where are you from? My mama's uterus.
*Are you single? Depends what day it is.
*How old are you? This varies chronologically or developmentally, between 27-87.
*Why do you have so few Karma? A) Clients don't leave them -or- b) I have very few clients

  • Why do you have so few Karma?

@TattooSqueeze that one always irks me on this site. People forget that this isn't the only cuddle site, and for some of us a lot more cuddling happens from other platforms or out in the wild (completely offline) than from here. I'm not going to ask people to sign up for this site just to give me karma to satisfy someone else's standards 🤷🏻‍♀️ nor am I going to pester people I've cuddled to leave me karma. It's far from the only metric of cuddle experience and quality, and too many folks rely on it entirely for vetting safety which can be a dangerous game 😒

Questions I dislike? After writing a thoughtful intro message coupled with an invitation to check out my profile and karma, I dislike it when they ask:

    How are you?
    How’s your day?
Or worse. Just hey or hi.

  • @cuddlefaery if they want to solely base the quality of cuddle experience I provide off of my Karmas, they probably aren't a good match for me anyways. Karma is optional and no one should feel obligated to leave it. I don't feel the need to answer that question, BUT if it really matter I'm currently batting 100%! Cuddling is the Wild is the absolute BEST! Thank you kindly for commiserating with me on this one!

  • Karma doesn’t mean much anyway. All it means is someone lived to tell the tale.

  • "are you really 5'11"?" -- yes, I am

"Do you play basketball/volleyball?" -- no, I don't, and no one would ever want my clumsy bunhead self on their team 😅

"How are you?" -- the vast majority of people who ask this don't really want to know, and my depth of honesty depends on how sincere I think they are vs if they're just going through the motions. Sometimes I answer honestly just to watch them do the goldfish face ☠️

  • "Are you available for a session?"

I'm not a pro. I'm willing to meet up somewhere if you prove to be an interesting person I can talk to. But no guarantees of cuddles.

  • Can you meet up? ( 12 AM? Not even 11:59 PM Never)
Bad mouthing another pro cuddler during a session.(Bad taste)
How r u Can we cdle? (Can we what? Candle, Curdle, Cuddle ?)

    That’s it for now lol.

  • How r u Can we cdle?

@Kaybloom Oh, yes, this is one of my pet peeves. Using all the abbreviations made sense back in the days of T9 type phones, but our Gorram smartphones have full keyboards on them now. So yes, I agree wholeheartedly with you that one can use full-length words nowadays.

  • As a professional, I answer any questions that is not sexual in nature. I understand that at the end of the day, my cuddling partner is just as enthusiastic as me but also care for their own safety, well being and a positive experience for me weirdly

  • @IronicMaiden
Agree with that one 100%. Sessions are also language that is used in my work. So not what I want to associate with cuddling at all as I’m not a pro.

  • I don't think asking for pronouns is necessary in the context of this website, so I don't ask. If they want me to know then they'll tell me. But it is very strange that they got upset about it. I've had people cancel for random reasons though. One said "scheduling conflict" but hasn't spoken to me in over a week so 😕

  • @TattooSqueeze, I'm curious about your aversion to "Where are you from?" It seems to be a completely innocuous "getting to know you" type question that I ask most people. It's not something I lead with, but after a few messages back and forth, it helps me to understand their background.

  • @JediJ thank you kindly for your curiosity. Majority of the time, people ask me this question because of how I look. When I answer the question directly, they don't believe me. When I explain my DNA makeup, I get responses like "You can't be, you look so exotic." It also depends on one's interpretation of the question as well, the context it's being asked and the information they are trying to extract. I think that is great that you don't lead with that question.

When I am trying to learn more about someone I ask a variation of these questions:
    1. What place has shaped you the most?
    2. What's the story behind where you call home?
    3. Where do you feel most at home and what makes it special?
    4. If I wanted to understand you better through the places you've live, where whould you start?
    5. What's a place that has left a lasting impression on who you are?
    6. What's something about your hometown that most people would never guess?
    7. What part of your background are you most proud of?

I personally like to be more specific when I am asking any questions. It gives the other person the opportunity and time to think deeper. Most of the time you won't get one word answers, when you asking it my way.

Another question I dislike is "How are you?" Whenever someone asks me this and I answer it honestly they are always taken aback.

@Kaybloom proper grammar and spelling is a huge one for me. If you can't take the time to type out full words and sentences, we are not going to be a good match. The bad mouthing of other Pros during a cuddle session is never savory. I made a big mistake of asking, "How has you experience been with Cuddle Comfort?" one time so I know not to inquire about that one again. I have found they like to compare me to their last experience to which I let them get 2-3 sentences in then I just steer the conversation to being present in the moment. Everyone is different and it's not a competition.

"Can you meet up?" is equivalent to "Are you available now?" messages in my morning inbox from last night.
If we haven't started a conversation yet, I will not respond to Bootycall-esque messages. If we have then I would remind them it's polite to submit a request at minimum of 48hrs in advance for higher chances of acceptance.

Another question I dislike is "Can you reduce your rate because I can't afford you?" This one always makes me chuckle because I'm trying to imagine myself in their shoes. If they really wanted to book a cuddle session with me and we were a good match, I would suggest either saving up or request in lieu of birthday/Christmas gifts that loved ones contribute to their Cuddle Fund. The proper way to ask this question is, "Would you be open to negotiating a small discount for an extended session or multiple hours?"

  • @TattooSqueeze that makes perfect sense! I tend to take things like that as curiosity rather than other motives, but I certainly understand now. Thanks!

  • "How do you value your what you contribute of to at the work force?"
"Which do you most can't the least?"

I sure would hate to be asked these questions as I definitely would need a prepared answer for those. I am sure there's at least a few people here that might have heard those quoted questions before. 😁

  • @JediJ you are certainly welcome. Happy to answer respectfully curious questions.

  • Questions that you dislike.

    🙄🙄🙄🙄

    Ahem

    "Cuddle now?"

"Are you available to cuddle tonight?"

"Can we meetup tonight? I can pay you!"

    "Can we cuddle this Sunday?"

"I'll be happy to drive to you, can we cuddle this afternoon?"

"How do you feel about a Sugar Daddy type of relationship?"

Lol. I would love add some of the annoyingly inappropriate icebreaker"questions" that have popped up in my inbox when I WAS active on various dating sites for various years. 😏☺️

But, those sort of "icebreaker questions" aren't what OP is referring to here. Therefore THOSE questions, I shall keep to myself and continue to keep the unwavering faith in Werewolves alive! 💜🐺

  • @TattooSqueeze Your post really tickled me tonight 😂.

  • @Kaybloom Love that! Best response to any of my comments in the forums to date.

  • @TattooSqueeze
    Those are some stellar questions!

I have a different take on the “what has your experience been like so far?” But I ask it quite early on because their tone and how they answer can tell me quite a bit. Whether they answer negatively or positively.

  • @YourFavoriteSir Great question and set up!

I love threads like this, primarily for the answers that address and respond to the question.

But, if I'm being honest, I also greatly enjoy the tangents and the people who don't really read the specific question being asked and answer anyway 😂

Anyway, I've never set up a session here (yet) but I do believe knowledge is power or at least being forewarned is forearmed or whatever.

Thank you to everyone that responds!

  • @mauvefox glad you think so. I ask a boatload of questions during the get to know you/vetting phase. I like that you ask early on "what has your experience been like so far?" Because asking during a session could go really well or completely south. The answer to that question has been split down the middle. One client shared they cuddled a dead fish and got catfished. Another shared that one of their Pros fell in love with them, was seeking a romantic relationship but feeling were not mutual. So it all depends on the connection or lack of that is why I do an extensive vetting process to prevent disappointment for either parties and wasting of anyones time.

  • @Katota that is a rad acrylic painting. How long did it take you to complete?

Wait you don't love the "How do you feel about a Sugar Daddy type of relationship?" question? There is always at least one that has to ask. I guess be grateful that they showed you their intentions before booking a session and wasting your time.

Oh the classic 10:47pm "Cuddle now?" question. Yes of course, let me drop everything I'm doing and be right there. You better have my Liquid Death Mango Chainsaw chilled, Rold Gold Thin Pretzel Twists, clean Egyptian cotton 1200 thread count sheets, the room temp at a perfect 67 degrees and showered with your teeth brushed by the time I arrive!

Of course can't forget about the all too common "Can we meetup tonight? I can pay you!" question. Absolutely I love it when you send a booking request after I've taken out my contacts, brushed and flossed, did my whole skincare regime, slipped in to my cozy jammies and turned my phone to do not disturb.

I honestly laugh and wonder if anyones bites on these requests because they are quite comical. But I always say if you don't ask the answer is always no. Sometimes though, it's best to use some introspection before sending a message like such to a Pro. Maybe just maybe consider what it must feel like to receive a message like this at that hour.

@TattooSqueeze I would love to hear your responses to the sugar daddy question. I bet you’ve crafted a really good response by now 🤣.
