How safe is this?

Ok...as a nurse, having to go into people's home, I had to have a background check. I am a single mom, and hustling, so I also deliver groceries for a company...also had to do a background check. No background check for this site? Has anyone had any negative experiences? Just curious

  • A good start is to check the FAQ, 'cause this is definitely a frequently asked question. :-) See "Is This Safe?" under the General section here: https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/4232/frequently-asked-questions#latest

I've had negative experiences at Disneyland and Whole Foods.

Precautions help but @quietman775 has this covered. :+1:

Those background checks are not to protect you, they are to protect the company you work for from lawsuits. Meeting someone online is as safe as meeting them in any other way. It's up to you to satisfy yourself that the person is to be trusted by performing whatever checks you deem necessary. If you want to run a background check on every person you meet, ask them for their driver's license and pay for a check. Maybe you can convince them to pay for the check. You can always meet people in public before or instead of going to a private location. There are various safety tips outlined on this site. Check out the FAQ as previously mentioned.
