@pmvines I've done similar. Once, I walked out of a store with a king size Hershey bar in my purse. Don't even get me started on restaurant crayons. lol
@Brailleangel Now the crayons seem more intentional lol that seems like something I would do
I used to park all day long in the city , for , 5 cents . The old fashioned parking meters I would insert a nickel , twist the handle an get 7 minutes , then immediately insert a bent paper clip in the coin slot , which would stop the timer . I haven’t figured out how to jam the newer digital meters , lately , now I see you have to get an app to park some places .
@pmvines Yeah, the crayons were intentional, especially the thick crayons. Only one restaurant provided them, and I stole them every time. My mother was convinced she'd raised a thief. lol
I'm a full time heroin dealer. Cuddling with someone is a break from a hectic life.
I go bar hopping sometimes even though I don't drink. Last night a friend and I went to an Irish bar with Irish musicians, then to a bar with a bluesy band, then to a disco night themed bar, then ended up at a karaoke bar playing pool and listening to tunes and dancing. Apart from a couple of small cover charges we didn't spend a dime lol
@pmvines. I have always liked bars. About 15 years ago I got my third prescription that came with “do not take with alcohol” stickers on the bottles, so I stopped drinking. For a while I’d go into my local pub and drink diet cokes. It was good seeing the friends I’d made over the years, and enjoying the drama of the tavern community. But in time, I realized that when I walked in the door on an evening, I was already as stupid as I was going to be all night. I couldn’t say the same for many of the others, so I just stopped going.
@mickcuddle You gotta love it when your common sense bangs you over the head. Mine does all the time and I wonder where were You decades ago?
Forgive me internet gods for I have sinned, it has been several months since my last confession. I regularly do not leave any reviews on products I buy off Amazon etc.
@mickcuddle Did i mention one of the bars i go to sometimes is a gay bar? A friend of mine feels safer and is able to have more fun there so we go together sometimes. So not only do i not drink, but i am not gay, so i am def not the intended audience lol but i still have a blast regardless!!
@Wrench Don't feel bad. The only time I leave a review for an online purchase is when I'm highly dissatisfied. I make it very well known why I'm dissatisfied, so I hope the internet Gods will forgive me for my blunt, sometimes downright mean reviews. haha
Sometimes when I don't understand something someone is explaining to me I will pretend that I do and just Google it later
Before COVID19, sometimes I would pretend to wash my hands and just let the water run for people to hear.
@mickcuddle ~
Sometimes my insomnia and forgetting to eat regularly, combined with the fun rush & crash brought on doughnuts or cake, is all I need to level up my "stupid"!
" in time, I realized that when I walked in the door on an evening, I was already as stupid as I was going to be all night. I couldn’t say the same for many of the others, so I just stopped going."
Boo to not going out with friends! At least go occasionally! IMHO, "enjoying the drama of the tavern community." should be for anyone into it, "stupid" or not. ~
But don't be too stupid - remember to wear your mask!
...🙏... Being a voyeur is far more comfortable and safe. Dissonance is real. Being content with whatever is a healthy coping mechanism. Being thankful for just existing is another healthy strategy to living well. To others a misconstrued apology for being human.
So many paradoxes to make sense of in this life.
It's funny that self talk in social media is often seen as stream of consciousness. In the street as crazy.
Yet drinking and smoking anything is being hip and cool. In some circles it's perceived as being awoke and chic. Depending on what it is that's being ingested and inhaled.
To constantly process one's experience to at least attempt to make sense of it is seen as extreme intensity bordering on the neurotic.
Yet to live one's life as if yesterday never happened, just another moment in time makes one more fun to be with and real to digest than another.
Why is someone's thoughtfulness often diminished as simplicity, stupidity and or sickness?
Why does someone's difference make them seem less than or unpalatable or undesirable?
Why does a person's personal preference become ammunition on which they are judged by or judge others?
So many why's. So many.
Too many paradoxes that become truths.
It's much easier to ignore or reject or just denounce what one does not understand. Much safer to diminish and relabel what makes no sense or is just not relatable. It doesn't matter whether it's Ideas or human beings. Nothing really matters that makes no logical sense or isn't relatable to the human mind.
And so it becomes so much safer and more comfortable to just watch. To just be the reflective, reflecting voyeur.
And does assuming this role means someone is crazy, or mentally and emotionally disturbed or unstable?
Does it mean this person has checked out?
Or does it just mean this someone has just made a healthy choice to embrace his difference? To engage with the dissonance that his difference to others create for him?
To engage with it by observing his experiences without the judging ego. To hopefully understand it and use his understanding of it to learn and grow and be empowered by it. Could it mean all of this?
The answers are as deeply personal as are the questions.
It's a confession of reflections that each person has or had or will have over a lifetime.

I hate melons😱
@Lisa2476 have you no soul !
A lot of the time I click on the thread so it doesnt show that there are new posts but rarely have an internet in actually reading them
Lol!! @pmvines ~ Same!!! All the time!!! 🤣😂🤣
In The Before i would go back to the same sample station at Costco for seconds.
I get anxious sometimes when it comes to body type. With me being bigger I worry I might accidentally put to much weight on someone
Before Covid when I would go to a restaurant and it came time to sign the receipt, if the pen was really nice I would say to the server "if you leave this pen with me I'm going to steal it". They usually just laughed and left the pen with me, so I would sign the receipt and take the pen home with me 😆
Sometimes I resurrect old threads that feature animals.just so I have an excuse to post pics of my pets
I ate soo much edibles Friday night (something I don’t do, I don’t even smoke 🤦♂️) that Saturday was a complete blur until we ordered pizza Saturday night & I still felt the effects all throughout yesterday but I think I’m finally good (been sleeping soo much 😴 💤) 😬 never again!!! 😫
I once ate an entire angel food cake during my 8 hour drive home from my mom and dad's house. My mom baked the cake for me to share with my ex-husband. When he asked me about the cake, I told him that I had to throw it away because I dropped it on the ground while packing my car for the drive home.
That cake must’ve been really good @MelanieL lol 😅😋
Soooo yummmmmy!!! It was like a party in my mouth, @introvme
Oh great now I want cake 🍰 @MelanieL 🤤😂
