I get that some of y’all are pessimistic because you haven’t found people but I don’t like being generalized like all females are the same it pretty rude because there are a lot of things that we could generalize about the males of cuddle comfort
@DeathbyChocolat I believe the expression is, "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". 😀
In some of our small towns, banks have been closing, so the few remaining ones have long queues. Customers are complaining at the long queues, when they should be complaining at the banks which moved out, or never moved in.
@DeathbyChocolat I appreciate you sharing honest views on my thread. I can understand how men that are having trouble finding cuddle buddies comments towards women, can be seen as offensive. The problem is that many women confirmed having no problems finding cuddle buddies but many men on this thread posted about having problems (me and a few other men in this thread posted about cuddle buddy finding success) . In life with success comes, haters/others that wish they had what you have. A quote comes to mind “Lions don’t care about the opinions of sheep”. So you, I and other successful people can keep cuddling and winning. If others want to complain or be negative, that’s thier choice but I will enjoy cuddles (while they do what they do lol). @geoff1000 I love your analogies! ❤️
@FishCuddles It's nice to be appreciated. 😀👍 I hope "some people" pay attention to a different opinion.
@geoff1000 well deserved!😃👍🏿I hope so too!
A very interesting take on things, @FishCuddles . Thanks for providing some food for thought
@Cinephile77 Your very welcome and thank you!😁
@geoff1000 Many different opinions shared respectfully, make life and forum posts very interesting.
Goody Morning! Any new responses to these questions for 2021! Hello, this post is welcome to everyone regardless of cuddle preferences and location (I travel randomly, so may end you in area, you may find yourself in Florida or virtual connections can be fun too). Since I have joined this site cuddled many women (pro and non pro) but approximately 10 men listed as cuddling “women only” suprisingly offered me a cuddle invitation through private message. No judgement here and we are all curious about life in general. So regardless of gender if you are looking for cuddle buddies (women, men or both) or wanting to discuss topics positively/respectfully feel free to post. Also if you are a man or woman that is listed as cuddling “women only” but want to discuss, ask questions or secretly interested in trying cuddling with men, you can feel free to private message me (if you are not comfortable posting publicly). Here are my questions. What would motivate you to pay a pro cuddler as opposed to cuddling a close friend or relationship partner? If interested in paying pros with is your price range? (I have seen pros charge between $40 to over $200 per hour) If you cuddle only one gender, what qualities would you look for in the other gender that may open up your views and want to try cuddling everyone but only if you are open/at least considering (If you are not open that’s ok too)? I look forward to hearing from all of you. Special shout out to my friend @pmvines
@SuperManCuddles I used to cuddle both men and women, but most of the time I found that I didn't have a good experience with men. It was always for the same reasons (see: entitlement, misogyny, expectation of more than just cuddling). It was exhausting and time-consuming to filter through guys' responses and determine who was safe enough to meet, especially considering that most of the time it didn't pay off.
I haven't had the same issues with women, so I eventually decided to just set my profile to say that I only cuddle women. But there are guys I've met on here who I'd cuddle again, and I would certainly consider cuddling guys I've established a rapport with. It boils down to safety and respect for me.
I haven't paid a pro before and would be hesitant to cuddle anyone who regularly cuddles with multiple people in these times. My Covid bubble is just me, and I would prefer to cuddle someone else in a similar situation to keep my risk low. BUT if there wasn't a pandemic happening, I'd pay a pro for regular cuddles if they seemed trustworthy, respectful and pleasant to be around, and I enjoyed my first cuddle session with them enough to want to repeat it. I don't really have a price range for that. I think a good fit is what matters most.
Jumping in for 2021. For me to approach a pro, I think I’d have to be going through one of my rougher waves of depression, and my gf was unavailable. I’d probably pay on the cheaper side because I can vibe with just about anyone, and afterwards tip accordingly.
My cuddle preference is female, maybe because I was predominantly raised with feminine energies. Dad worked long hours, no brothers, and I was a shy nerd that never got into sports. Top it off with never being hugged by a man besides dad until college, and you could say I had some issues to work through. Now I’ll hug anyone after receiving consent, so I feel like I came a long way 🤷♂️
I’ll probably keep my preference to “women only”, but I can see myself making exceptions with the right people and the right boundaries. Hopefully that doesn’t sound as harsh to y’all as it might sound to me. Thanks @SuperManCuddles for getting me to open my mind a bit more!
@squeakytoy Thank you for much for sharing your thoughts and experiences. We share similarities. I agree based on my experiences too men are more likely to push boundaries and or expect “extras” than women that I have met. For me personally, I pride mysekf of being a “safe and non boundary pushing man” Many is my male and female cuddle buddies have appreciated that and it’s been therapeutic for many. I have definitely increased my boundaries over the years, for safety. I have also cuddled “women only” cuddlers, due to safety reasons I was either the only or few men they would consider cuddling due to bond created through friendship and connection. I appreciated all that decide to be a cuddle companion or mine but also not opposed to virtual or hangout only friends too! Awesome that you would consider paying a pro in the right situation. I have cuddled both free enthusiasts and pros. Paying for a pro for me would come down to connection and mutual interests from the session. @ZacRedBear Wekcome to the site! Thank you very much for sharing your personal experiences, journey with affection and keeping an open mind. I agree with you keeping preference “women only” if that’s what you primarily want but also agree that with cuddling in general in comes down to personal bond, friendship and safety/respect of boundaries. I am the same type of hugging 🤗 person with consent and wish you success on this site!😁👍🏿
I consider myself mostly gay (maybe a Kinsey 5), and am married to a man, though I am open to cuddling people of any gender. As for pro vs. enthusiast, I would like to share my perspective as someone who has spent most of his life earning money as a freelance interpreter: making, keeping, and billing for appointments even when clients don't show up— which happens often. If I didn't get paid every time I showed up to an appointment I would not be able to make a living. I have also made a living as a freelance singer doing gigs, by the way, so again there is the value on time and money. The hourly rate is high, but it is not possible for me to work as many hours as a shift worker does, so every hour counts. I can certainly see why people would choose to cuddle as a pro instead of an enthusiast, because time is valuable, especially if the way you make a living is all about time. I can also see why people would want to cuddle only pros, because you know they are serious about their intentions and -- one would hope -- about keeping their commitments. A pro, if they're any good, will not stand you up. They also will not hem and haw about actually getting together and cuddling, the way a non-professional person might do when they don't know what they want. I know all about the hemming and hawing because I have never made an appointment to cuddle with anyone. I have always loved to hug and cuddle, but I have never done it as an intentional, singular activity like, "I've never met you, but let's make an appointment to cuddle." That has been daunting me for several reasons, among which have been the epidemic and my marriage. I think I have to admit it goes beyond just that, especially now that I've been vaccinated and my husband and I have spent months talking about my desire to cuddle with people other than him. I think just the idea of cuddling with a someone is a bit scary, imagining all the things that could go wrong. The one thing I don't want to go wrong is being put off or stood up. That is why I have been contemplating making an appointment with a pro for my first time, and also why I am thinking of becoming a pro myself.
[Edited several times because I keep finding typos.]
A big part of cuddling to me is sharing affection, and other than manly hugs, I can't imagine stroking a guy's cheek or anywhere else for that matter. I'd never hold hands with a guy or let them lay their heads in my lap or spoon during a nap but have with platonic female friends. Intellectually I have no issues with cuddling with guys. It doesn't threaten my masculinity and I don't car what others would think. I just have zero desire to do so.
To me cuddling is comforting and with a guy I don't think I could get out of my own head.
There is also a low key energy exchange buzz from touching a woman. It can be part sensual similar to how when I was younger I'd be acutely aware "I'M TOUCHING A GIRL! SHE'S TOUCHING ME!" yet it's also firmly platonic. There's something awesome about acknowledging the awareness of potential intimacy and reframing it as "This is not that - this is for comfort. Relax and enjoy." Being in control feels good because it allows me to relax and receive affection, energy, and good thoughts.
Guess I'm saying there is an extra charge of /energy/richness/past experiences that cuddling a woman taps into. And doggies. Live me a big furball.
@SuperManCuddles I'm not at all surprised you're successful on here! None of your forum comments have ever thrown up red flags for me - you come off as a genuinely nice, caring guy. Thanks for starting this thread
I'm very open minded, I have had some great cuddles with females & males. I have only had 1 none Pro cuddle with a super nice lady that I met here on the forum, we started chatting and months later I found out I was going to be close to her location on one of my road trips. So we agreed to meet for breakfast and then had a great cuddle. I do cuddle about once a week now with a Pro, which I'm fine with that . I feel some of the prices are to high, and it's not that I can not afford it, I just can't justify it. I just can not see $100.00 an hour to just hug a person !!!, now, I'm not implying that there should be more then a cuddle. @squeakytoy , I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that reads the forum and then thinks, OH, I sure don't want to cuddle with that person. I do enjoy reading most of the posts, I have seen a few, after reading there reply's to a post I think, no way I would even want to meet them in person for any reason !!!. I wish there would be a way to see a persons posts on the forum when you go to there profile, you could learn a lot about that person.
@waynewv @squeakytoy just wait til you start reading your own forum posts and start thinking wow what a jerk I sure would.not wanna cuddle.that guy!!
@SuperManCuddles thanks for the thread love it ! You and I have had conversations about this and though I'm not opposed to cuddling men it's not really a preference, however there are a few folks here I would likely cuddle. You for one , @Sideon , and a couple others as well as trans folks and I'd cuddle @DarrenWalker though he doesnt really identify as a gender . Good thread
I hope I don’t put off too much of an “uncuddly“ vibe. I’m multifaceted, and can be both cold & prickly and warm & fuzzy (I read TA for Tots as a kid). If what I’ve written in these forums has made any of you feel you would never want to cuddle with me, please private message me to give me helpful feedback.
@nurturingman Thank you very much for sharing awesome Kinsey research, your sexuality, “everyone” cuddling preferences, work history, the value of time and reasons to charge. No worries, I would virtually chat and hope for future cuddle you one day! 🤗. @Hugonaut Thank you for sharing ideas about Hug affection with men and vivid comfortable experiences with women. @squeakytoy Thabk you very much for all the compliments. I strive to put out positive and honest energy. @waynewv Thank you for the open mind about cuddling “Everyone too”!!! @pmvines ❤️Much love always!!! 🤗I am happy to make the short list of men that you would cuddle! I would definitely cuddle you too! 😃🤗👍🏿 @Sideon was my first cuddle and great experience!🤗❤️ @DarrenWalker I would cuddle you as well!!! and I have never cuddle a trans before but definitely open to it!!! @nurturingman you awesome 😎 no worries my friend! You give off good, honest and respectful vibes!!!!
Aw, thanks, @pmvines. I'd cuddle you any day. And @SuperManCuddles, I reckon I'd cuddle you, too!
Side note: For some reason reading "he doesn't really identify as a gender" made me picture a gender as a tiny, blobby animal that scuttles really fast, jumps at people, and latches onto them. "Run! Run or the genders will get you!"
And then I misread "a trans" as "a train."
I'm gonna blame the fact that I just woke up for these fine pieces of mental mishap.
My preference is to cuddle with a female; it does involve a particular level of intimacy, comfort and safety, and I don't think those things would come from a male cuddling with me - furthermore, I understand how difficult is for a female get to that level. Being from South America, culturally we have less of personal space and I use to hug my buddies tightly when I see them, but cuddling with guys feels different to me. I prefer to find a non-pro, and just because it'd be something truly mutual in terms of cuddling, sharing a nice experience that would benefit both; I feel very fortunate to have found one, and we've been keeping it platonic successfully. Nevertheless, there is the point of "supply and demand"; as mentioned before, not only there are a lot more males, but also unpleasant experiences from males have been reported. So, finding a non-pro female to cuddle is not easy. So, I kind of understand how some guys get a little frustrated because they joined the site likely expecting to easily find a female to cuddle, and the reality can hit hard someone that has been deep in loneliness; that's no picnic, really. I don't have a problem contacting a pro though, not only to be able to cuddle with someone, but also to get more of their cuddling experience; I'd look at the profile to find some common things, and especially try to find some comments on karma. Nice one @SuperManCuddles !
**What would motivate you to pay a pro cuddler as opposed to cuddling a close friend or relationship partner? **
If someone had extra amazing skills, like healing skills, like really good grounded healing skills.
**If interested in paying pros with is your price range? **
Would depend on how healing the experience was.
I am set to cuddling everyone but so far though women have visited, no one has taken me up on it. I prefer men generally because of a certain energetic vitamin that my body seems to crave from a grounded male body. I've cuddled with women friends quite a bit and that's also quite sweet and delicious in a different way, and I could imagine cuddling with a big mama type being something super wondrous for me as I always feel like "the big one" even though I'm not THAT physically big. Just am generally the stronger, more grounded, more stable, more badass one. I like feeling dwarfed and held and surrounded by a capable strong entity, wherever that strength is coming from - physical strength or just psychological wholeness and "I got yer back"ness.
@SuperManCuddles Thanks for the thread and you already know I'd cuddle you in less than a heartbeat if you were anywhere in my vicinity. Same with @DarrenWalker @pmvines @squeakytoy because of how I've experienced you snugglepusses in the forum.
@Maverick07 Thank you for sharing your personal views on sharing big affection with others, multicultural norms, finding a consistent female ethusiast and shared experience. Your Welcome! @littermate I would cuddle you in less than a hearbeat too! You are amazing! Keep it up!❤️
@waynewv You're definitely not the only one! I agree, I feel like seeing how people treat each other on the forums can tell me a lot about them. There is actually a way to see all of a user's forum posts if you're vetting them for a cuddle session (just replace the username at the end of this link):

@pmvines It's true, I've written some cursed stuff on this site. Maybe one day I'll go too far and offend even myself.
@littermate Awwwww! Thanks! I'd totally cuddle you as well, I like your sense of humor and enjoy your contributions in the forums.
@squeakytoy
@squeakytoy , THANKS so much, I will be using it for sure.
@SuperManCuddles Great subject for a thread. I am open to cuddling anyone who is reasonably kind, has a sense of humor, can have a good conversation particularly when it involves me learning new stuff, and has good hygiene. To me all of these things move the cuddle way beyond the physical into a real connection with another human. I have reached out to a few local guys but no takers as yet. Also, there are a large number of people on this site that I would cuddle based on their forum commentary and profile assuming that feeling was mutual.
@Mmart Thabk you very much for the positive response. I have the same views on cuddling and am the kind of person you described. I agree, it takes the experience to a “real” and not just physical connection, Too bad no guys responded yet. Denver is one of the places I visit from time to time or if you come to Florida, we can definitely hangout and cuddle, if you would like too! 🤗
