Ian’s Pizza in Milwaukee cuts a pretty close second to the Pizza in New York.
The first time my Texan friends visited me when I lived in Buffalo ny their heads nearly exploded when they saw how big a SMALL pizza was lol. That 36 inch thin crust was bigger than the table in their hotel room. I just laughed and said told ya you didn't want a large. I also ninja slapped a "Do not meddle in the affairs of demons for your soul is crunchy and tastes good with hot wings" sticker on their F 250 but that's a whole different thing
@NightShift39 you lived in Buffalo???!! 😯 .... did you go to all their wing spots? Which was your favorite?
I hit a few but honestly they're not all that different. Anchor Bar however is the reported inventor of the buffalo wing and are pretty good (you can order their wings online they ship flash frozen world wide at last check)
Honestly though I loved the wings at N.Y. STYLES pizza in the Allentown neighborhood
But I do HIGHLY recommend hitting up a taste of buffalo if you're in the area. It's a big foodie event and all the best places set up booths (including some of the awesome mom and pop places) A week of all the best food being in one place it saves a TON of travel time lol.

But: Pineapple, olives and fire roasted tomatoes. Fire roasted tomatoes should be their own food group honestly
Dried fire roasted tomato slices sounds really good. The only ones I know if are too salty though
Thanks for the suggestion @NightShift39 ive always wanted to go to Buffalo literally just for their wings !! Lol this will def save me a lot of time, I just need to know when “a taste of Buffalo “ takes place ... I most definitely wanna hit up these 4 wing spots when I’m there ... Anchor because their the inventor & duffs because I hear they’re the local favorites for sure
I tend to like a pizza that has a good number of toppings on it. Many places will call it "combination" or something like that. Usually things like sausage, salami, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, and black olives. I think it gives the pizza a good combination of flavors and would hopefully have some semblance of nutrients.
Another one of my favorites is Canadian bacon and pineapple (some places call it Hawaiian pizza, though I've heard they don't actually put pineapple on pizza in Hawaii). It's simpler, but I like the combination of sweet & savory.
Authentic New York pizza with extra red sauce, mushrooms, black olives, and pepperoni. And lots of grated parmesan.
I hate to stir trouble but there is something truly satisfying in pineapple on pizza due to the sweet and savory flavors. Hahahahaha.

Pineapple and Ham. You can't forget the ham. Tied for first place with pepperoni & mushrooms is BBQ chicken. Yummy
Sardine, Rolo & Stilton (or any strong blue cheese).

I'm a Meat Lovers (or whatever the place happens to call it) kinda guy. Single topping, depends on my mood. Any of the ML toppings are good, but so is mushrooms and black olives (don't judge me, some of you like pineapple on your pizza).
For the style of pizza, my favorite has to be Detroit style.
As for pineapple, I prefer it when my food doesn't try to eat me back, thank you very much.

@CuddleDuncan ~ What is Rolo? Here it's a chocolate candy roll with caramel in the center.
Sardine is already 🤢 to me (though maybe the stinky cheese over powers it some so...?) but to add chocolate and caramel to the mix moves my feelings to 🤮 for sure. Lol!

But all together was meant to be a joke. Sigh. The most disgusting pizza imaginable.
