Touché
@Importance Ah, I figured it was an exaggeration, but I thought I'd share some helpful info. I'm sorry.
I actually didn't know that, I knew it was bad to leave a car standing for so long but I didn't know all that happened.
Didn't have a dad to teach me car stuff/DIY stuff so 90% of the time I'm winging it.
See. It all worked out.
@BuggleBear I do a little DIY, but I am not an expert. No one taught me either, but youtube is full of good info! Winging it is one way to do it It's always good to pick up new skills. But yes I meant that to be general advice for anyone who's storing their car for a long time, not just directed at Importance.
I plan to continue using delivery services for most of my restaurant meals even after the pandemic. Restaurant dining rooms I may return to are those where proper bike parking exists and the price of the meal would be more with the delivery fee and driver tip. All other restaurants where I woulda had to lock my bike to a pole or railing are the ones I won’t bother returning to.
It's all in God's hands.
Thanks everyone! I might just keep the hand sanitizing every time I get in my car from the store or whatever I just did out "there." I miss being able to have kids see my smile - they see me staring at them and no matter how friendly my eyes are, it doesn't get the desired interaction. Adults too. I suppose I could get one of those plexiglass type thingies.
I have an increased appreciation for the people I'm connected to and for the times when we get to connect, however it is we do it.
Cheap travel (airfare ) and hotels. Theme parks not crowded. Certain destinations both here at home and on my travels are actually enjoyable and not overrun with social media influencers and mobs of tourists. I'm selfish. (≧▽≦)
Mine grow out of swims apparently heh
I have always been a hypochondriac and a germaphobe. Now I get to openly sanitize and wash my hands constantly and disinfect surfaces regularly without looking like a crazy person. And many people have been more sensitive to the fact that germs exist and that they need to not be disgusting creatures. I would like to keep that going. I would like all the hand sanitizer stations to remain and the social distancing out in public places to continue because I get anxious and crowds and panic If anyone sneezes anywhere near me.
The lack of traffic in April was nice...
