Cuddlers who ignore potential customers

[Deleted User]RScarf1 (deleted user)
I have contacted many cuddlers on this website and very few of them have replied to me.  I understand that I live in Florida which is the craziest state in America.  I am wondering if there is another reason.  I am in my mid 40s, but I don't think I am ugly or morbidly obese.  I think that many cuddlers go into this profession because they are lonely themselves.  Is it possible that cuddlers who are in their 20s do not want to cuddle with customers 40 and older because they will only cuddle with people who they may want to date?  It seems like they exclude potential customers based on their own bias.  They are basically turning down money.  Is this happening in other states besides Florida?

  • So you're saying professional cuddlers in your area ignore you ?   That's is strange.
Im in my 40s and haven't had too many ignore me.   Just maybe two.   But most don't seem to care about the age difference.

  • I'm pretty sure it happens all over. Unfortunately you also probably live in an area where professional cuddling isn't more prevalent.
  • Personally, I wouldn't read much into it. You might try to put a little more in your self-description and read your messages to see if you are sending any red flags (these have been discussed elsewhere). No criticism intended. Wish you well. Is Florida really the craziest state in America? You might have competition on that thought, lol.

Sometimes there are unusual time delays. Some pros get inundated with messages, apparently.  I messaged on cuddle pro on March 6.  Saw that she signed on a few days later, but did not reply to my message. I wrote her off. Then she replied to me on 05/02.  I ended up seeing her and we had a very nice session. So you never know.

  • I have not tried to see any paid cuddlers on this site, however I have become pretty close to a few. From talking to some of them, the consensus I get is that if you message back and forth with them for a bit and maybe let them get to know you first and feel comfy, then you will have a better chance at getting an appt. I'm not saying you  aren't doing this, just a suggestion in case you aren't. I would imagine the ones who simply say hi, what is your availability, don't have the best of luck
  • @RScarf1. Dear Rs, I have looked through your profile and there are a few red flags, you need to upbeat you profile add some details about your personality, hobbies, what you like to do just general thoughts, add some more photos of fun things may be get a friend to take some out door shots, You live in a great place I have been there many times and had no problems. Ask the question of Companions you know, what it is they see and use it on your profile. It also helps if you are seen on the forum, just a few words people listen.
Have fun and play safe, John Auckland NZ

Thanks for all your suggestions.  I'll update my profile.  I can understand if someone does not visit the site and not respond, but I'm referring to ones who have been on the site within 24 hours.  Maybe they do have a lot of messages.  I don't know.  A few have responded to me within a day, but others do not respond at all.

Some never even visit profiles. Only like one or two I messaged even looked at my profile. So either they are bombarded or just signed up and decided they don't want to do it.
  • @Rscarf1 I changed my city to match yours and in a 50 mile radius, there are only five pros that show up. I'm assuming you meant pros because in your post, you say customers. That is most likely your problem. When I search in a 50 mile radius of my home, 100 pros show up. I get ignored also sometimes. I think the ones that ignore you are probably not very serious about pro cuddling. Pros that are serious are most likely more open to seeing anyone. I am 45 also and haven't had an issue booking pros. As I said though, I think it's all about your location.

There seems to be more pros in Central Florida than South Florida.  I don't know why, but it seems more women are willing to be cuddlers there.
  • [Deleted User]navyvet76 (deleted user)
@RScarf1 if they actually logged in and looked at profiles LOL
  • It does suck when you see them log in multiple times a day but don't reply to your message.   After a few days you just are better served forgetting about them.
I do wish if you blocked someone you would stop seeing them show up in the list of cuddlers

or have a way or soring out those you have contacted already.
  • Of course I won't identify the pro-cuddlers' name but, in my area, I reached out multiple times and over multiple weeks to someone and she only gave one reply that said "sorry I was busy at work". I am unsure of the previous circumstances but I am commenting in hopes of (atUnknown-Cuddler) would be interested in meeting me. For any pro-cuddlers who would like to check with references, I urge you to chat with the people who are mentioned as friends and or search the friends page for karma comments.  Everyone deserves to be able to enjoy platonic cuddling safely and not be prejudged; in my limited opinion, the only exclusionary factors should be cleanliness and proper decorum along the lines of the site agreement. @Rscarf1, best of luck to you.
  • @Ronnie53160, Dear Ronnie,Nice comments well done let us hope the Unknown-Cuddler dose make contact.
Love and friendship John Auckland NZ.
  • Since the site says there should be no discrimination I wonder if pros can simply ignore people without some explanation.
Like I know a black client who is always ignored by pro cuddlers.  Shouldn't these pro cuddlers be banned for ignoring someone without any reason ??

  • Hi all. I'm just getting started here so, the one if the reason I would think someone would not respond would be that they are doing this as a side job to start and see how it goes. I'm excited to get my cuddle on. Good luck and lots of cuddles to you all!
  • Hello. I just joined as a professional yesterday. Personally, I have a career. That being said. I don't see a reason why they can't respond to a message. I'm even going to take the time to try and message anyone that has simply visited my page and read it, even if they are in another state. A simple hello is not hard. If you are busy they can let the other person know their schedule is full at the moment.

I don't respond to messages that are not a complete sentence or if a person asks for extras or something unreasonable.  I've had people request tickling and wrestling which  I reply with a simple "no thank you". I also get a lot of "hey" or "message me" or "hit me up"  which isn't a way to communicate with someone you are requesting physical intimate close contact with. So those go ignored.

I always answer thoughtful emails and requests, but I absolutely believe respect is a 2 way street.  It isn't that difficult to write a couple of sentences. First impressions are important.  Even if a person doesn't live close by or they are not looking for professional cuddling, I'm always interested in a well thought out respectful conversation.
  • I heard of clients who tickle and also suck toes.  Ugh. That's so odd to me.
  • @Atreides if your friend is in the Los Angeles area, send them my way. I will cuddle them.
  • You're so sweet qtpi.  I will do that.

I guess I was right in my prediction that cuddlers in their 20s will sometimes reject a potential customer who is in their 40s.  A cuddler on this website who is 20 sent me a message that I am too old to cuddle with her.  When the cuddlers work for a company, they cannot reject someone based on age.  I did recently cuddle with a woman who is 20, so everyone is different.
  • @RScarf1 being a cuddle pro can be challenging, not the cuddle itself of course but finding the connections. If she is 20 she might  have felt she could not give you the kind of connection you deserved in your session based on her own experiences, but being still a bit immature she said age was the factor. And even if that's why she felt she couldn't give you the right session she should have just politely declined. Also just like anyone else cuddlers have the right to refuse a client.  Personally if I can find a connection with someone then we have things to talk about during the session and the session is better for the client. I'm a healer too, and some people when they are that young can't separate and compartmentlize. Everyone should be comfortable even the cuddler so they energy is good. I'm sorry you had that experience and I hope it's much better from here on out. If you come to cali and want a cuddle let me know! We can do some energy work!

Do they really have a right to refuse a client based on age?  It seems like age discrimination to me, but I just wanted to make people aware of what is happening.
  • Good question.   Not sure a pro cuddler can use age or race as a reason.
There are rules though.   Check the rules.
And report the pro if they are violating the rules.  Ofcourse that will just mean they use some other excuse not to see you.
As someone who hires people for work I know it's possible to age discriminate but to do it in a way that isn't easy to prove.in the end though.  Why see a pro who doesn't like older men ?   Just skip that one and see one of the other amazing pros who don't care.

  • I agree with @Atreides

Was there a reason you wanted to work with that particular pro?
  • After rereading his post it's possible all the pros in his area are ignoring him.  Which would be really sad if they were all young and didn't like older clients.
In that case maybe it's time to move to a cooler place.  Like California.  We have great pros here.

I have moved on, but I was being ignored by a lot of cuddlers on this website and I suspected the reason was the age difference.  Her statement to me confirmed that.  If a cuddler works for a company, she would be fired if she refused to see a customer based on age.  This is probably more widespread than just in Florida and that is why I wanted to get other people's opinions.
