A report is supposed to be released by June 25th, 2021 by the US Government disclosing the US government’s knowledge of UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon).

For the purpose of this survey, assume that this disclosure means that extraterrestrial life exists, and has technology far superior to ours on earth.

    I totally believe it and am curious as could be. I also don't feel that extraterrestrial life would necessarily be threatening. Maybe we would be the threatening ones.

    @Mmart , I agree with you 100%. I have been following the UFO thing since high school when I did a book report on Project Blue Book. As a pilot, I did see one for a few seconds, I called Flight Service, the people that you contact while in the air, they told me it was a drone, but NO way it was a drone, so I never pushed the issue any further.
    I hope the truth comes out in my life time. If I ever seen one land, I would go up to it. !!!
    As a Christian, I find a lot of interesting things in the book of Ezekiel.

    I too would love to know prior to my demise. Your story is similar to ones I have read about and other pilots have told me.
    I know many people who immediately turn on the fear button but that is common with anything that is unknown.

    As a skeptic I have a hard time believing things I dont see . That being said I think its arrogant to believe earth is the only planet that supports some form of intelligent life.

    Only thing better than stargazing while cuddling is when your buddy and you spiral into conspiracy theories, or point out the lights that are moving in weird ways.

    I’ve always been a sci-fi nerd, so the thought of no advanced extraterrestrials is depressing. Even if the government disclosed no proof, I’d still be optimistic that we’re not alone.

    I'm pretty indifferent. If aliens have been traveling unfathomable distances to check out the horrific disaster that is humanity, then they likely haven't got much going on—aside from possessing advanced technology.

    Personally, I kind of want it to be true (if they're nice aliens not serial killers or something) but I don't believe in it. There was once this tiny alien baby preserved thingy that they found and everyone was like it's an alien but when they tested it they found out it was human with some condition that died. Not sure if anyone read about this but whatever odd looking things they'll find will just mean to me that it's a human with some type of condition or an animal with some type of condition. Either way I still plan to read the new stuff on this since it fascinates me.

    We have found over 4,500 exoplanets, and we currently believe that about 1 in 5 sun-like stars has a roughly earth-sized planet in the habitable zone. It is reasonable to assume that there are billions of such planets.

    However, at the moment we have better maps of the surface of Mars than we do of the surface of Earth. Mars isn't threequarters covered by deep water or ice. We have discovered about 1.7million species of life on earth: we don't know how many there are but our best guess is somewhere around 8 million.

    In other words, the aliens are out there but anything unexplained on earth is just that, something unexplained about earth.

    I’m happy to see that most people who participated in the survey are open minded about extraterrestrial life. According to an another interview I saw recently there is physical evidence that may or may not be presented in the disclosure due this summer. We’ll just have to wait and see.

    I think that if aliens wanted to do us serious harm, they could. Since they have not, (as far as I know), I’m inclined to think they are at least neutral toward us.

    I believe we are not alone in the universe, and I'm unconcerned. If they are hostile, there's nothing I can do about it. If they aren't hostile, then there's little to be concerned about.

    @CuddleDuncan - you have ignored the time factor. Intelligent life has only existed on Earth for a miniscule amount of time compared to the total time the Earth has existed. The Earth will probably continue to exist long after human life on it disappears. The same could be expected to apply to all other habitable planets. So not only does intelligent life have to exist on some other planet, it also has to exist contemporaneously with life on Earth.

    I'm pretty sure the report will be fairly boring and nothing revelatory. The universe is so vast that it seems inevitable that other life, even intelligent life, exists somewhere, but that same vastness makes the odds of their visiting (or even being ABLE to visit) our particular planet vanishingly small. I'm always open to the possibility of alien visitors, as well as ghosts, Bigfoot, and other weird phenomena (after all, who wouldn't want that stuff to be real?), but the evidence just isn't there, at least not yet.

    If aliens want to kill us they could just nudge some rocks from the asteroid belt into our orbit and there would be nothing we could do. An alien invasion like in the movies is stupid beyond imagining and makes no sense. If aliens have visited us they are peaceful and we are the threat. Humans are degenerate savages and I will be amazed is we survive as a species for the next 50 years.
