ooh. I want that bike.
@Mmart It looks quick. I'm sure if it was entered in a race it would be a shoe-in... or at least a runner up.
Having 85 unfinished projects and starting one more. Matching my mask and socks with my freaky outfits. Finding parking places right out front of almost anywhere just by saying "Please give me a parking place." Advanced levels of multi-tasking such as flossing my teeth, pooping and video editing at the same time. Talking trash about sports I'm about to play no matter how bad I am at them.
Multi tasking that includes flossing, pooping and video editing, wow , I thought I was good at multi tasking but I realize now that I am an amateur!
@squeakytoy Yes, no one would suspect such a sneaker to be so quick.
Macaroni and cheese expert.
I can hold my breath until I pass out.
@Mmart What the heck?! That's next level! Think of all the Gravol you can save on long trips
Wow... I completely missed the mark! hahahhaha
@littermate I'm with you.... 2000 projects and books and then I see something and I'm like "ooooooohhhhh that looks like it would be fun!!" Maybe I'm one of the original ADD laundry kind of girls and I'd be in a coma if they would've medicated me back then!! hahhahaha alas.... I will have unfinished projects surrounding me instead.
My hidden talent is forgetting your name, your face, the fact that I ever met you. This is how I was born, it takes a while before I can remember someone. This might seem like a weakness, but it does seem to simplify my life. As a consequence, I’ve gotten quite good at looking you in the eye, smiling, and pretending.
Generic “you”, of course.
I can do a decent impersonation of a little, green, Jedi Master. “Help you I can...yes!”
@cualtzin Oh crap! Do you have prosopagnosia? Is that part of it?
Hi Squeaky,
I had to look that up; I think my mind is always whirling away-my Dear Dad called me “the Tornado.” I can recall events from when I was two, but couldn’t tell you what I had for dinner last night...:)
...sorry Squeaky, my brain skipped a line and I thought that was for me...see what I mean...:p
@TheNewNovelist It's okay, I think that's happened to us all at some point on the forums
...I agree😊😊😊
I'm an absolute boss at stepping on small dogs and backing into children and usually knocking them over. I keep telling my own boys, "do not stand behind mommy." These must be hidden talents since the dogs and children have not learned and it keeps happening. Maybe I should advertise more, or get backup lights. 🤔
@Ennea2HugU Oh lord! I think I accidentally trained my cat to get in my way more often - hopefully the same thing isn't happening with your dogs and kids!
In the past, whenever I've accidentally stepped on my cat's tail or foot, I've felt so horrible that I immediately showered him with love and treats afterward. Over time I started to realize, "gee, I seem to be stepping on him more and more, I gotta pay better attention". So I got in the habit of always looking before I take a step, even while preparing food in the kitchen. And that's how I found out that the little f*cker looks over his shoulder at my lifted foot as he backs up and deliberately places his tail under it so he can interrupt whatever I'm doing to get cuddles and treats!!! WTF
@squeakytoy oh boy! Good to know, though I do not think that is happening with the small dogs in my life (my mom's and friend's) my kids just get a "sorry" and "you really shouldn't stand there."
Parallel parking. I’ve had total strangers compliment me on it. I amaze myself sometimes, I’ve managed to get into some very tight spaces. Other times I can’t park to save my soul.
I don't have any hidden talents. I have an obvious (and niche) talent for taking random stuff, usually complete crap, and turning it into jewellery.
I just made fully functioning tissue box earrings. I get bad hay-fever. They're surprisingly useful.
