When will the cuddling world rebound? These last few months I have been getting fewer and fewer cuddle sessions. I really thought that cuddling would be picking up in the spring but instead it seems to be slowing down. I don’t know if this is just me. But it’s getting to the point where I can’t hold my breath much longer if business doesn’t improve soon. The pandemic seems to be winding down in the US but cuddling doesn’t seem to be having its comeback.

    @xandriarain, April and May have been comparatively slow for me too. Thank you for the validation, I thought it was all in my head. My theory is that as things are opening up, people are spending their extra money on going out to restaurants, vacations, dating etc. Things will pick up again. Use the extra time to make yourself stronger. If you can diversify your income stream, that will ease a lot of stress about the up and down nature of this business. For privacy reasons, I don’t want to talk about all my side hustles here, but happy to brainstorm wIth you in DM.

    @xandriarain , I realize there will be a lot of different responses to your concern I know as an enthusiast I have slowed down from cuddling world simply because I’m working a lot more at my businesses. In Ohio we cannot get people back to work or even apply. I know , I know , lots of reasons why. But those of us that are business owners or management are working around the clock keeping up with demand. I promise you I will be needing cuddling If I don’t collapse soon. when things return to normal if I don’t collapse soon 😊. Hope all is well with everyone here.

    'Active Cases' is particularly interesting - it's only going down very slowly. Combined with 'pandemic fatique' I suspect that may be the reason that things are not picking up. 'Daily New Cases' was basically flat from February to April, but is now falling. It'll take another couple of weeks for that fall (assuming it continues) to really feed into Active Cases.

    If current trends continue it looks as if the next two or three weeks will be much the same as the last few. After that, things should start to pick up slowly, assuming the reduction in cases feeds through to a relaxing of restrictions and people feeling more confident about going out and about.

    In other words, things should start to pick up slowly in early June: if you can hang on till 4th of July you'll probably be ok.

    I may be wrong about this but at least speaking from my own experience I have seen the price for cuddling sessions go up substantially, in most cases $100 and up with very few cuddlers at $80 and below. Personally I will never contact a pro cuddler that is out of my price range, I firmly believe that pros are free to charge whatever they believe is the best price for their services.
    So in the past three or four months I've only done sessions with the cuddlers that were within my price range and I was happy with the results and will continue to follow that path.

    @xandriarain I did read it and just in case I wasn't clear, I am not nor have I ever complained about the price of cuddling. I say this because you start the above mentioned thread talking about people that complain about high cuddling prices and that is not me.
    To me is very simple, only contact cuddlers that charge what I am willing to pay, if a cuddler charges $100 and up I don't even make contact because it would be without point. What I do works for me and I have cuddle sessions with a pro when they are within my price range and I am happy with the results like I mentioned before.

    @cuddleversed I get what you are saying but I’m just saying you shouldn’t necessarily skip over profiles that have a higher sticker price because they may discount longer sessions. I charge 150 for one hour and $290 for three hours so you’re paying under 100 per hour if you would like a longer session. But if you were just skimming over my profile you might miss that detail so if you want a longer session you should really look at the full price list and not just a sticker price.

    IMO to most pros
    Two things are killing the Pro Cuddlers COVID and Money or should I say COVID and Recession
    Most people are careful with their money and some just don't have any spare cash .
    This first thing people will drop/quit is Hobbies ( etc ) Cuddling, Massages , Restaurants etc.
    Now and at the best of times people are looking at the bottom line .
    The economy will not recover in the near future

    I've just recently joined CC so I haven't known a time when this website was busier than it currently is. I've been inundated with messages since I joined so I can't imagine what it must have been like pre-Covid. Sounds overwhelming!

    @NoVAgirl That is how it is when you first join. Enjoy it while it lasts. After you’ve been here a while you don’t get inundated as much. I was very busy for the first six or seven months and then covid happened.
