We've had some lovely weather where I am the past couple of weeks and I've enjoyed spending some time outside (I'm in Toronto and it's been over 25 degrees Celsius and sunny - woot!). One day I ended up sitting in the grass in a sunny field and was reminded that the warmth of the sun on my skin feels a bit like the warmth of a hug. It actually took the edge off my need for cuddles. I was impressed. And another day, I spent some time barefoot in grass which was lovely.
So I just wanted to remind people (and myself) to spend some time outside if you can - it might make you feel a bit better
I'm also wondering how other people like to 'cuddle up to nature' so to speak. Perhaps you stop to feel soft flower petals, hug trees, or squelch through nice soft mud. I'd love to hear about it.
Happy weekend to all, and happy long weekend to the Canadian cuddlers out there
