Thanks!!
It might have been wiser for you to use different phrasing, you could have been misinterpreted. "Extended session" could have come off poorly to this pro. Don't make an issue out of it or get too hung up; just find another pro. Good ones will answer your reasonable questions.
That said, you haven't really told us the full extent of your interaction, but 10 days of on and off chatting (if that's indeed what you were doing) seems excessive in my opinion as a Pro. For every new client, I invite them to book a free 30 minute consultation with me by video where they can ask questions, let me know what their needs are, and from there they just need to book if they want to. I don't have the time nor emotional energy to maintain too many conversations over weeks with people, but I am happy to give them the majority of the info in one go, and they can ask questions in the interim if there are questions remaining between now, and the time they book.
Hmmm. I also don't see an issue there.
(10 days 20 messages with no booking yet?) I think she got overwhelmed & felt like her time was being wasted ) I think she was being more than generous with the amount of days (almost 2 weeks) & amount of messages without it going nowhere in my honest opinion.
@cuddles_ndream - We weren’t able book session since she was going on vacation the very next day of her account creation and wanted to keep in touch and were exchanging messages. That’s it.
@Catloaf - We weren’t able book session since she was going on vacation the very next day of her account creation and wanted to keep in touch and were exchanging messages. That’s it.
Needs more information. Can you provide a bit more context about your interaction? Questions you asked. Etc. I don't know many that would block based on one seemingly innocent question.
But, I’m okay to move anyways. Just curious to see why just asking a question leading to blocking the account.
@iDream21 Well, in that case, chalk it up to a communication faux pas if that's what happened. Maybe she wasn't ready for the amount of effort it took to keep in touch, which is fine. Some pros come into this line of work not realizing how much they need to put in, or how they should set up lines of communication with clients.
I'd encourage you not to worry about it too much.
@Catloaf - I think you’re right she is just new to this. I think she’ll learn better when meeting more clients.
Yeah there was an a lot of context here but I will say that there is not much of a threshold to become a pro here anyone can do it including some emotionally unstable people. I once sent a very polite message to another professional because I heard that some rumor about me may be going around via one of our mutual clients. She went off on me sent me like five angry messages and then reported me. I don’t know what her issues were or what trauma she has been through but I know I did nothing wrong. Because there is no real training or regulation on this website you won’t get the same level of professionalism from everyone you interact with. Also there are many inappropriate requests we have to deal with and when you get enough of them you can start to misconstrue things.
@Envie - I don’t disrespect anyone and especially women and they are angels. CC might have warned or closed my account if I might misbehaved with her. She’s not the first Pro i was typing to meet, already met couple of Pro’s.
@iDream21
I'm not insinuating you disrespected her. I'm saying more context is needed to possibly understand the reason she blocked you. You're jumping to conclusions. Calm down. Re-read my post and don't be quick to make assumptions.
Woow. Looks like asking an opinion is also turning bad experience for me now. Thank you all for your feedbacks. I’m unsubscribing from this discussion now.
@iDream21 my take, for what's it worth, is you said "new" pro. In my opinion I would think a new pro would be super super hesitant about everything. I mean going to a hotel to meet a stranger? C'mon! A pro with a bit of history would have , I assume, cleared up what you were trying to say, based on their past experiences. Either way meeting people for first time is stressful. Your responsibility, if they are new especially, is to make it as least stressful as possible. Just be nice.
@OhioMike - Nooo. The first day I interacted, I think the third question I asked was whether she is okay to cuddle at hotel. She said absolutely YES and she also said she could do late night sessions like 10 o’clock. I know a lot of people scared of meeting at hotels and that’s why i made question at the first day itself.
It's obviously not great for her to block you. But here are some thoughts in no particular order. The question in and of itself is obviously not a reason to block somebody - it isn't that.
Professionals are subject to a lot of time-wasters. If she has suffered greatly with them you could be collateral damage, particularly if you've sent more than three or four messages.
Depending on the phrasing and the history, 'extend the session' could have been taken as a euphemism for sexual activity.
The question is unanswerable. If you want a longer session, book longer. It's never possible to predict extendability because whether or not the professional is willing to do it depends on how the session is going for her, and whether or not she is able to do it will not be known until the day. If you want the professional to keep hours free, so that you can extend if you want to, then you obviously you would pay her for that.
This phrase worries me:
Also i like to extend if i feel comfortable cuddling Pro’s, but it’s not mandatory if Pro doesn’t want to, then I won’t insist!
Extending a session is a very delicate matter. I do understand why you want to set things up like this, it makes good sense from the client's perspective. However, a professional who has not met you before does not know how you are going to react if she says no. The tone of your sentence makes me wonder if you are sensitive to the chasm of risk that opens up for a professional when a client asks to extend during the session. For example, have you ever asked a professional that while you were between her and the door?
Or could be nothing whatsoever to do with you, and entirely to do with something at her end.
And if she's new .... there are a lot of people who sign up as professionals and abandon it almost at once.
@OhioMike - On the first interaction, I also offered her that she wanted to meet in a public place before meeting up for session and that’s how I usually meet people. So that we know who we are meeting. This is how i met my previous Pro’s too and they absolutely enjoyed meeting outside before sessionz
@iDream21 You are welcomed to ask opinions, you just immediately got defensive needlessly I might add when all I said was more information needed. I'm just trying to make it clear I wasn't insinuating anything, just felt more information could potentially explain her reasoning. 🤷♀️ Good luck to you. Hope you figure it out.
@iDream21 I understand and thumbs up for you explaining that. My point is, she is still is, in your words "new"! On the occasion I meet a "new" cuddler my anxiety goes thru the roof because I'm their first experience with this site and I am super nervous now.
Seems you already have an opinion and your mind is already made . Not sure what you are seeking by posting about this really .
Ditto ☝
@iDream21 You asked a question and your account was blocked. Is this correct ? Blocked only to the account you sent to ? Suggest you move on and seek empathy. You are 30 years younger than I. Move... ON.
@Hi_Im_Tim - Absolutely, it’s what happened to me. Yes, i made up my mind and moving on. Some nice people messaged me over and explained how things go wrong. I’m glad a lot of nice people here 😊!! Thank you so much for your suggestion!!!
What was the original question? The OP edited their post to delete their question and say “Thanks”? That’s not the done thing in forum discussions, @iDream21 🤨
1 Probably off topic 2 Clarify under no circumstances Im saying that @iDream21 did anything bad.
But couple months ago this one guy whom got block by the pro cuddler... made a really bad review/ comment on her and it seem very convincing everything he wrote.
Then the pro cuddler came out on her defense. And ohhhhh ok. Makes sense why he got blocked. He left out bunch of stuff out making it seem that he was the victim when it was actually the other way around.
I've seen a few threads under the premise of "oh, so asking questions is bad now?" And it's a bad faith premise. The real issue is lost in the sauce of assuring someone that asking questions is still ok.
We're all adults and we know it's ok to ask questions. If you were blocked you should move on, instead of asking for justification or a sense of reassurance that you've been good.
You're not entitled to an explanation, and you know what you said. You can be blocked for any reason, or no reason at all. It's an ego response to seek validation for your actions, and that's normal. But people just need to move on.
If I blocked someone and they took to the forums asking vaguely what they did wrong, I would be upset.
@Big_Chris I agree with you 100%.
A Pro actually blocked me after she messaged me asking to meet up. I was like "thanks, but I'm not interested in Pro sessions." She blocked me after that. Very strange!
What if you have a conversation and the pro has not even looked at your profile? Happened a few times. Sort of $trange. Even if they will cuddle with "anyone", it seems they would at least like to know their prospective client's preferences. Cold.
We had a thread about blocking. Turns out you can't even begin to imagine all the reasons that people block.
