Overnight Sessions

In your view, what would you see that would make an overnight session enjoyable and very very successful??

  • A nice sleep without snoring and a small hint of morning breathe in morning.

  • I don't understand the question.

"In your view, what would you see that would make an overnight session enjoyable and very very successful??"

    What would I see??

  • @quixotic_life - I believe he's asking what you think would make it enjoyable. He can correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Ah...
Tons and tons of snuggling without distractions. Sleep if needed or is naturally occurring. Waffles, coffee, yogurt and fresh fruit in the AM.

Waffles? You're fired! French toast is the only way to go! hahaha 👍 And like a wise man once said (George Carlin), I can't eat yogurt (anything that has a Y and G in it). lol

  • I’ll take either.

  • @Letsholdeachoth ~ If you're proposing making me some early morning post cuddle French Toast...
    You're hired!!

  • Good customer service, hospitality. And morality, kindness i think 🤔

  • @DimpleGirl you are 1000% correct!!!!!

  • @Letsholdeachoth Yes to French toast! And hot coffee. :)

  • @jasmineluv how about eggs, bacon and sausage.

  • @quixotic_life how would you like to wake up to hash browns, sausage, eggs and bacon???

  • @Connecticut1977 are you saying you're cooking breakfast? ;)

  • I would be honored to cook you breakfast. I would be honored to enjoy another overnight session with you @jasmineluv

  • @Connecticut1977 - what's my prize for being correct? 🤣🤣🤣 I'm excited. Kidding...

I think the perfect overnight session would include lots of restful sleep and breakfast the following morning. 🤗 Maybe watching a movie, too.

Waking up to fresh coffee in bed and making breakfast together would be the cherry on top for an overnight.

  • @simsaddict you have the right idea for sure.

  • This thread is making me sad.

Not the question. It's a good question. If I may paraphrase (my emphasis):

What makes an overnight session .... very, very successful?

But the answers. Everybody is talking about technicalities like snoring. Or breakfast. Breakfast is irrelevant. Sure, we all love a great breakfast. But a great breakfast can't rescue a bad overnight, and a bad breakfast can't ruin a great one.

Anyway, to the point. It's an interesting question for me because I'm not sure I've ever had a "very, very" successful overnight. I've only a had a few, and they have all been "successful" or perhaps even "very successful". And I've never had an unsuccessful one. (All with enthusiasts by the way, I've never had the money for a paid overnight.)

Commonality of expectation I think is probably important. A good level of confidence by the other person: if they are too nervous and unsure that might not be ideal. It's much harder to sleep if you are holding somebody who has tension in the their muscles caused by being so close to you.

A shared sense of vulnerability, leading to a sense of leaning on each other to meet that vulnerability together. (I'm just thinking aloud here.)

Perhaps something as simple as a similar length of sleep cycle. I get up to go to the bathroom, and they immediately follow or at least stir a little naturally, so that we can have a little cuddle when I come back to bed.

Compatible body temperatures. But that doesn't really count because that's necessary for a good overnight, it's too basic for a conversation about "very, very successful".

Oh I know. The arrival of a friendly cat on the bed in the middle of the night, when the person who's house you are in doesn't have a cat. (It's only happened to me once, in pre-cuddling days. It did turn out I knew the cat.)

  • Plenty of snuggling together, lots of chatting about random things. Jump in the hot tub and have a soak.

  • I would like some cuddling while watching TV and/or bedtime reading, cuddling in bed, sleeping either spooned or back-to-back, possibly with some space between us if the body heat gets to be too much, possibly with earplugs in to block out snoring, a slow wake-up with some cuddling, and an unhurried breakfast before parting. I don't know if I would want to do something like a 10pm–6am bedtime-only session, but I might do that a client wanted it. Being a married man, I would only do an overnight cuddle as a rare exception.

  • @CuddleDuncan well said 👌 also i think is kindness,compassion and respect.

  • A lot of communication beforehand. I recently had an overnight session, and I asked a lot of questions about preferences, how we should get better acquainted, anything and everything I could think of. It helped me set my expectations and helped her feel more comfortable.

@jetblack that's very true. I met 1 pro before cuddle we spoke 5 minutes she she made me very comfortable and I asked her many questions and doughts. Then everything went well. Honesty and communication. It went very well both very comfortable.

  • A spare bedroom with a made bed and private bath , just in case one or the other has to make a retreat to find relief from noises or tosses and turnings . A good nights sleep is important . OTOH , I know a pro cuddler with pleasant snore . It’s so cute . It’s not a 150 cc chainsaw going full throttle but it’s kind of like “ audible breathing “ I guess

  • Dinner, tv, massage, cuddles, candles, and sleep

  • Amnesia the next morning because there’s no way in heck I’m paying north of $500 for a women to sleep in my bed for 1 night.

  • @Connecticut1977 ~ Absolutely and yes please!!

    I agree with @DimpleGirl

Also, knowing each other beforehand for some time to increase comfort level and rapport to not be afraid of any shady or terrible things occurring whilst unconscious. Lengthy discussion about boundaries. And separate beds/rooms to sleep in case it just isn’t working for whatever reasons.

Ooh, I missed this comment by @craM with which I also agree:

Dinner, tv, massage, cuddles, candles, and sleep

  • @CuddleDuncan ~ To me the food in an overnight is very important.

To include, "Breaking Bread" in the planning, preparation, and the anticipation of an extended cuddle is a lovely way to ease any pre-meet tensions and jitters as it creates space for getting to 'know' each other better and to find further common ground.

As we get to look forward to another means of shared nourishment, beyond the cuddle itself, it's an intentional layer we can add to all the other good feels and makes for some pleasant cuddle bookendings too.

  • I agree with @quixotic_life 💁🏽‍♀️🥰
