Yes people use it. However, bear in mind that the ratio of men to women is about 4:1.

Yes. I've made a number of real life friends here, in addition to Internet friends and meeting cuddlebuddies and professional cuddlers.
However there is a skill in getting the best out of this place: @Babichev's post is the instruction manual. There are two prerequisites to acquiring that skill, which anybody can do. Firstly, a psychological willingness to do so, and secondly you actually have to do the work.
Yes, this site is very active. Put some effort into your bio and have patience. You've only been here less than 3 days. Try to develop relationships and participate in these forums positively if you want to experience connections. Show that you are not here for a quick hop in the sack.

I think people often come to this site thinking that they will log on and instantly cuddle buddies will just drop into their lap. It doesn’t usually work that way, particularly for men. For women, we often get flooded with messages when we first sign up because we’re in the minority as enthusiasts but we quickly find out that a lot of those messages are coming from men who either don’t understand what “platonic” means or they do but are ignoring that. For men, they tend to have a harder time getting meaningful (if any) responses from women. It leaves both men and women feeling frustrated. However, with patience and the right attitude it’s possible to find cuddle buddies. Participating in the forums helps. People get to know you and you get to understand what the site is about.
