Transgender Pros

There is a new pro who identifies as a female but who isn’t biologically female. This in my opinion is a recipe for disaster. Sadly the world is full of horrible examples of hate crimes where people are attacked for simply being different. I understand that people can identify with whatever gender they wish and this is likely why sites like this don’t have an option to list themselves as transgender. I personally am concerned about the safety of transgender Pros and wish they would identify themselves as so. This post should in no way be taken as any type of hate post. I am open to any and all types of people. I don’t discriminate but in a situation like this where people are intimate, this is potentially a very dangerous situation.

  • I have come across two or three profiles of transgender pros and they all identified themselves as such.
So the only potential for any trouble would be if they keep it a secret from potential customers.
Transparency and honesty is the best policy when it comes to advertising of any kind and even more so on a site where pros offer cuddling services that while platonic are very intimate in nature.
If you are aware of a pro that hasn't identified herself maybe you can send her a polite private message advising them of the opinion you just put on this topic and the rest would be up to them.

  • @Morpheus -

You should check this thread: https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/comment/17044/#Comment_17044

It has been indicated by Mark that in the near future, there will be options programmed into the site for the purposes of helping make this clearer for those who wish to do so. Hope that helps.

Yes, I understand these concerns and expect this will be resolved within 1-2 months.

Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. I dont see this as an issue. If there is a market for it, and like someone else said as long as its not some huge secretive thing, should be fine and dandy :)

  • I am sure that she tells her clients but to be honest if the boundaries are being adhered to there shouldn't be a reason for the other person to find out as they should not be grabbing between her legs

  • @Brandi,

That is a pathetic reply. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. NOT!! If someone is a convicted rapist, murderer, etc. do they deserve respect and kindness? NO!! If someone is listed as a woman or as a man and is not than they should be deleted from the site. Members have a choice but to choose and find out someone is not the gender they say they are is terrible.

    @pmvines,

Your reply is just as bad. No need to waste time commenting on it.

    LOLZ...

Anyways I agree 100% with @morpheus. I think it should be known that they are transgendered to avoid any dangerous situations. All of my trans friends on dating sites clearly state they are trans. They still get not-so-nice mail but better than getting beaten up or worse.

  • I think it takes an act of courage for someone to deviate from what Society has deemed to be "The Norm".

As the world we live in evolves in it's ever-changing manner (and in likewise fashion, the people who live in it), a quote comes to mind from one of my favorite shows... It applies not only to those making those changes, but also to those who come face to face with them.

"There's no point in second guessing yourself. You can't remake the past. So look ahead, or risk being left behind."

I always give a chance to see the real person before disreguarding them as a person. Because In my situation, every person ive met has been able to break down their guard and I was able to see them for them, as a real person. Not their actions or appearance. And in this case its being transgender, not being a murdered lmao! So @smyle if ya think thats "pathetic" well tbh I dont really care what you think lol! Not to mention youre being pissed off about it being done secretively. Our comments mentioned specifically they should mention it to their cuddlers.

  • @smyle wow. You sound very transphobic. No one on this thread even gave a hint saying that trans people should try to hide anything from potential clients so please don't assume that's what trans people are doing. I am trans and very much state in my profile as such.

@Brandi I agree with you. I give people the benefit of the doubt before I jump to conclusions about who they are. Thank you for you kind comment.

  • I have a job where I meet many people in the LA/Hollywood area. I not only meet them but I come into their homes and spend a substantial amount of time working in and around their homes. I see all walks of life. I see all ages, sexual orientations, ethnicities, you name it and I see it on a daily basis. The vast majority of these people regardless of any of the above are generally all very nice and kind people.

Requiring someone to identify as trans is stepping into some very sticky territory. What about people who are intersex?

  • Would you cuddle a Wookiee?

  • [Deleted User]onceperyear (deleted user)

@Morpheus Why are you asking that?

  • Cause I’m pretty sure I’m part Wookiee

  • [Deleted User]onceperyear (deleted user)

@Morpheus What do you suggest happen for people who are intersex? Are you aware of the prevalence of intersex people?

  • Are you asking what do I suggest for intersex pros?

I would prefer to cuddle with a trans because they are usually (stereotypically?) really gentle souls and i feel safer around them.
They have that girly spirit and not the same vibes as a man.
So idk. Don't see how it'd be a problem to anyone who isn't close minded. And if you're actually on the site for therapeutic purposes, you're probably open minded enough for it not to be a problem.
I'm open minded and maybe biased tho because my life partner is trans and is hoping to start hormones soon.

    Screen carefully

  • @kuddlykara That’s great for your life partner! ^^ I hope everything goes well for them and that they have a comfortable, positive experience with the transition.

  • Honestly it’s up to the person to out themselves or not . Trust me they know the risks , they live with them daily . Just like it isn’t a clients buisness if you are gay or straight it really isn’t any buisness what is between their legs . Sometimes outing yourself can also put you in danger , it can make you a target .

  • As I said, if you are platonic cuddling, there wont be any grabbing of crotches .

I've cuddled with all kinds of everybody so I have no hangups but I still think it's a good idea to mention being trans.

The beautiful trans I've talked to on this site mention it in their profile and my trans friends mention it in their dating profiles. My friends said, for them, it's always better to get it out in the open right away because they've been put in dangerous positions when they didn't.

    To each their own.

I think all misogynists, racists, meat eaters, and football fans should identify themselves. I'm allowed to have my preferences!

  • @corgilove I eat meat but also enjoy fruits and veggies! Cant really identify with the rest on your list lol

I think it is important to recognize the reality that some people might not feel comfortable cuddling with a trans person, so it is probably in everyone's best interest to disclose this info upfront. It also helps to normalize the subject by putting it out there which will help to shift hearts and open minds - yay! Moral/ethical points aside (which I agree with), as a professional, I think it would be naieve, irresponsible & possibly dangersous to not take this into consideration. Maybe some day soon, this will no longer be an issue, but we are in an awkward state of transition. It is good to be aware of this while moving toward a more open & enlightened place together. I think it would be a GREAT move to add a variety of options relating to gender &/or orientation on our profiles. Ultimately giving us more accurate tools to express ourselves and CELEBRATE the true diversity of how we identify and express ourselves. =) <3

  • I think it can be wise to share . I just don’t think it should be a requirement . Unless we also require to list race( which isn’t always obvious ) religion , political affiliations , straight, gay etc. non of those are required to share .

  • I admit I don't feel entirely comfortable debating a topic when the person being debated is not adding to or driving the conversation. I would love it if @Rei were around to talk about this, but she has been off radar for a few weeks. She is a very lovely trans paid cuddler who is super articulate, and I'm sure would have some things to say this topic.

  • @Rei does identify herself as trans in her profile. I think that in itself says a lot.

  • [Deleted User]Alternis (deleted user)

I would definitely cuddle @Rei and I'm sure the session with her would be lovely and enjoyable for both of us.

If a pro didn't let someone know ahead of time id consider that about as dishonest as myself showing pics of myself from 2013 when I was in incredible shape prior to my back injury. Some might say what does it matter if im not muscular with abs anymore if this is platonic. It would definitely matter to some people.
