I just ABSOLUTELY ADORE this phrase.
I know we are all different and some might not relate to the idea of "not liking what you see in the mirror" but for others of us it has been a lifetime struggle. Maybe everyone around you told you that you should be or act differently than you were and you spent your entire believing that you weren't "enough" but hopefully you are in the process of changing that story or at least changing your people.
We are enough. We are amazing. We are beautiful. We are important and valuable. This isn't gender specific. It isn't age specific. It isn't race specific. We are all humans and we matter. Even if no-one else in your world is telling you this...... Make sure you remember to tell yourself!!! 😊🌻💗

Omgosh. I had a friend send this to me and it gave me a heart jolt.
Not only do I feel like this applies to me and how hard it is for someone to understand where I am at compared to where I’ve been….. it also made me think about all the rest of the people I come into contact with.
I don’t know their story. I don’t know whether their exterior reflects their current truth.
The ONLY thing I have any control over is how I can choose human kindness first and foremost and let the rest sort itself out.

Omgosh... I found this in another thread and it made me think of something.....
How much do we push away people who are trying to love us exactly where we are? Because of our history. Because of our insecurity. Because of self judgement.
Thinking about people who have climbed mountains just to BE in my space... accept me as I am.... scales and all.... I am pretty lucky.
Whichever you are.... Dragon or Slayer.... there is love out there to be given or received. We get to choose.

@TNNative Me tooooooooooo!!!!!! Sometimes I forget just "holding space" for someone is enough. Or sitting with them in their moments. I am a fixer and project oriented so I am usually looking for a task to complete. This was a good reminder. 😊
I know this might be a repeat, but I just love this motto. I have to replay it in my mind on many occasions. Its nice to pull it out and commit it to memory. If we could boil it down to just a few key things to tell ourselves.... I think she nailed it. ♥️

I was just making some big changes in my world and thinking "even though I completely align with my choices because they are what's best for me, I am still so sad for different reasons." I couldn't understand the war of emotions for a minute.... I mean, I've felt this way when I said things like "I'm never going to eat chocolate again..." but that is DIFFERENT!!!
Then a beautiful soul reminded me of this lovely truth....
Forge don't follow... start your new path.... ground in your new intentions and your new path….. be your authentic self ... surrender to sweetness of life.... be in Joy gratitude peace harmony and balance.... Get in nature.... your life is a canvas ....be the artist of your life.... DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE HOLD THE PEN!!
