I feel like everyone is entitled to preferences I myself have no defined age range barring underage , however can understand why someone might have a range that they feel comfy with. That being said , I do feel it is a little strange when I see older people with preferred age of those who are barely legal . I will and have cuddled people much younger than I, however they are not my only age range.
@cylee1180 Yes, but until you exchange a few messages with them, you simply can't tell if you have things in common with them. There are plenty of people here who won't even converse with, or bother to read the profile of somebody who is outside of their age range.
@GreatHornedOwl That's true. Age is just one part of my criteria. I look at profiles up and down when deciding to message : age, photos and facial expressions, what they wrote, and general intuition . I find it quite laborious , but I think finding suitable cuddle partners is very important. I don't want to be around someone who's negative, or pushy, or angry, or does not value themselves in a high esteem, etc.
@cylee1180 posted: "I think having things in common is key: I wouldn't want want to play chess, be friends, dance bachata, have coffee, or go hiking w someone unless we had good conversation" This is our whole point...one does not have to have things in common, to have good conversation...in fact, conversation with people different than us is often more interesting, enlightening, and enjoyable. 😊

@SunsetSnuggles I think we are talking about different things. I don't need the person to do or enjoy the same things as me, but I expect them to be positive and interesting and relaxed/flexible. I don't care for negativity, anger, or self-pity. Save that drama for your mama!
@cylee1180 Oh, I totally agree, there! Good stuff. But was your comment not about age range? I may be a little confused. I thought you were saying you have a more narrow age range, because you want things in common. (Your range is not narrow, but the preference within the range was a bit smaller.)
Hmmm good question. I don’t know if there’s an age range for me, but at the same time I just turned freakin 40, so I have absolutely no idea if cuddling with someone half my age or twice my age would be weird or not. I don’t think it would feel that way to me personally, but I do know I would be very concerned how the other person is feeling. I have zero interest in it feeling creepy though so I suppose we’d have to play it by ear and if it felt that way, just end the session and take the L 😅
@SunsetSnuggles People started talking about conversation in addition to age. I don't think I have similar life experiences as a 21 yo, etc. Then within my preferred age range, I try to comb carefully for personality traits in order to find one that I don't mind conversing with. We can't all be the GOAT like you!
@Charlie_Bear I think pple are very good at sniffing out the creep-o-meter and you don't seem to give off those vibes.
@cylee1180 haha thank you. If I ever set that meter off I’d have to go crawl into a hole and die.
@Charlie_Bear I doubt it. More likely is someone will misinterpret your intention or get triggered by a previous event and you will respect their consent. Being a gentleman is just better!
I think life experiences, maturity and connection are most important for me. Maybe 25 to 30 on the lower side with no upper end in general.
20-40
Am 20 with a pretty much limitless range... If I'm actively seeking cuddles, I'd probably cap it off at about 45, but I'm more than happy to give a cuddle to any age that needs it. Wish I could get over my phobia so I could give hugs to everyone who wants one -v-
I have had a dozen cuddle partners from 22 to 63 years old. Some were with pros, some were with enthusiasts, but every cuddle was a great experience.
I think people deserve to be cuddled from cradle to grave, so I don’t have a preferred age range. I know several people here have said 18 and over, which makes sense on this site, but if I had children or nieces or nephews who liked being cuddled, I would cuddle them too. Sometimes I think about volunteering to cuddle babies at the hospital.
What’s more important to me than age is compatibility, as many here have said.
20-26. Not too much older, not too much younger, maybe the same age. For a lot of people in their 20's they haven't cuddled any peers because the only time it's not thought of as taboo is during a relationship. Especially only childs. We have all already cuddled our parents and grandparents. It would be nice to be able to relate a lot to the person.
18 to 59 with special waivers available for select 60+
I can’t help but to think about children who have lost their parents due to wars and have no one to hold and comfort them . Age doesn’t really matter to me. But being kind and respectful is more important.
Im 39 and youngest ive cuddled was 21. I was a lil nervous with him but it turned out very exciting! He was very mature and sweet. Almost feeling guilty about it in a way lol but it was a actually great experience. So its not much the age but maturity and that connection. So im open from 20-50 as long as im connected with u..
@nurturingman Nicely said!
I refuse to cuddle with anyone that doesn’t fall within the 18 - 100 range!
My general age range preferences for cuddlers: Whatever age a proclivity for squishes is acheived to whenever they lose their squishiness (yes ~ squishy on the inside totally counts). Age of (im)maturity: Mid-Elementary to Midlife Crisis and/or Early Retirement to Snarky Grandpa. Actual trips around the sun completed and have connected with on CC: Typically has been -15ish to +25ish from how may I've done... But that's just the numbers. Connection and our tactile compatability are far more important to me than age.
edited for clarity, but is probably more murky... 💁♀️
@Gene2019 so no one 101, then? 😁
@nurturingman the 101 year olds here rn: 👁👄👁
Probability Filter. Is there an app? 🤔
@nurturingman I had to draw the line somewhere. 😆
Personally I tend to prefer cuddlers who are 35 years or older as, they tend to be more polite and respectful of boundaries, and tend to flake less. But I'm happy to cuddle anyone not in their 20's lol
Hmm. I'd generally say 35-50, although honestly I wouldn't block anyone out for being on either side. I guess I just sort of assumed women outside of those ranges wouldn't be interested.
For me there are two parts to this question. What age range will I reach out to? And what age range will I accept if they reach out to me?
I see myself only reaching out to folks aged 25-50 for societal reasons. However I'll engage with anyone over 21 if they're reaching out to me, assuming we can connect over something.
Maybe it's because I'm not close with anyone in my family and none of them are the cuddling sort but for the most part I don't have an issue with confusing platonic and familial touch. I don't worry about the emotional connection because generally speaking it's not something I feel in this context. Touch is nothing but touch for me, all that matters is that the other person is a living human being with a desire to engage with me specifically at that moment.
