Advice on how to cuddle? I assume you don't want to be a professional cuddler because, as a man, you won't get many customers.

One helpful thing might be to fill in the "about me" section of your profile ... and take a look through here too for some general info:

    This could be helpful too:

  • Id say just go in with zero expectations and just be open to opening up and just being yourself, weather it be through messaging, your profile, or in person. :)

  • Everyone is giving good advice, so I will just add, let your heart guide you. Listen to it, trust it, honor it. Don't let fear or doubt keep you from having an amazing, new experience. :3 <3

  • Read the forum posts. Note on the upper right there are tabs for the general, cuddle requests, and professional cuddling forums. I second @Brandi: let go of expectations, and also @respectful: helpful to have a filled out profile about yourself. If you message folks, they may or may not respond - and no, they don't owe you an explanation.

CC isn't a dating site, which for some reason seems to confuse a lot of people.

    Good luck and happy cuddling.

  • You have to be very proactive in searching through available cuddlers and sending them messages. Putting a post on the Cuddle Request forum is highly unlikely to get you in touch with anyone. Check the resources link that @respectful provided. There are posts about how is the best way to message people and what to put on your profile.

If you're active on the forums and have positive things to say, you're more likely to get noticed and get messaged. That's also a good way to meet people who might become friends.

It takes a lot of work and a lot of time to find an enthusiast (nonpaid) cuddler. For some people, it takes weeks or months. Some longer. You're going to need to have patience and perseverance. If you would like to shortcut that, you can look for a professional cuddler, to whom you will pay a fee.

  • Wow thanks for all the great advice guys. I was not looking into being a cuddler but the info is good and I will try all of those things. Again thank you all so much I was a not shy about this but your right I should open up about it.

The best advice I have ever received was just be yourself :) :)

  • Just be friendly and be yourself, remember to respect others and play nice. Realistically it is not as easy as it seems to find a cuddle pal, particularly one close by, but if you reach out to people and are open to it you might be able to make some decent online friends out of it. Some of the folks on here I keep in contact with outside of this site, and have even met a few with plans to meet others. Point is, be open minded and if its meant to happen you will meet somebody.

  • I am readinfg through some of these posts and this helps me out as well. It is very new to me and I have not been on this site very long. I hope meet some friends of this.

  • Just be yourself and really put yourself out there is the best thing I could offer, just see who's around your local area and go from there really! If one or two people don't reply then I wouldn't worry as long as there's plenty more people not too far from you, you're bound to find someone who will reply :)

Remember though that while we're all on this site to cuddle (at least those who know this isn't a dating site anyway), unless you're dealing with a professional it's not polite to just message someone asking to cuddle right away, get to know each other first, and make sure you discuss what you're both comfortable/uncomfortable with like where you don't like being touched and whatever. The 4 questions I always ask personally is if they like to hold hands, where they don't like being touched, anywhere they do like being touched (e.g. I personally like having my face touched, and some women like having their hair played with) and if they'd be comfortable with me cuddling them whilst sitting on my lap. At the end of the day we all have our own personal desires and whatnot but so do the people we're cuddling, it should be a satisfying experience for everyone :)

  • @willmott2k10 I'm curious if your handle is an homage to Paul Wilmott's quantitative finance site?

  • @CalNative Nope, Willmott is my real life surname and my full username is a nickname someone gave me in high school which just stuck with me since B)
