  • @Joe82_ I have many, but here’s one of my faves from Maya Angelou:

“You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.”

Just finished a new author and loved the novel. Spooky but humorous.... one of those books you read in a day.... which I did 🤔

How to Sell a Haunted House
    Book by Grady Hendrix

  • @AZcuddles602 Written like a Phoenix.

  • Just finished “This is Going to Hurt” and it was fantastic and hilarious!

  • @GreyAndGreen I couldn't put down Running with Scissors and I'm already really into The Glass Castle. I'll probably be done in a couple days

I'm reading, "Becoming Supernatural" by Dr. Joe Dispenza. I also follow him on YouTube and practice his meditations. I typically read books on life after death, or life after life. I love Dr. Brian Weiss' books and Michael Newton's!

City of Thorns, by Ben Rawlence.

I recently read The Treeline by Rawlence. Such a lovely writer.

Right now I'm reading The Iliad. It's so long 😵

  • my current read :)

I started reading this book on anti gravity.
Can't seem to put it down.

  • Great thread--adding a few to my list to read. I'm a rotating reader and currently in between The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck and Journal of a Solitude by May Sarton.

  • Started a new book. Has anyone read it?

  • The Weaponization of Loneliness by Stella Morabito.

  • I just finished all quiet on the western front, that was the wrong book to read suring the winter, its very depressing.

So instead of reading the sequel i switched to the hobbit because ive read it so many times already and its cheerful.

  • All the books!!! My latest expansion bookcase. Two days ago it was empty but don’t worry that problem has been solved.

  • @stormydaycuddle I love it! 😍 This was mine before I moved, still looking for a set of shelves I'll like just as much

  • @Lisa123 love it! We need a thread where everyone shows off their book stashes. Granted 1/3 or mine is still in the floor so the photos wouldn’t be as pretty. I’d put a puppy in it to make the mess look passable.

  • @professorlayton that one sounds interesting. I might have to add it to my list!

  • Just finished Fatty Fatty Boom Boom by Rabia Chaudry. Truly inspirational on so many levels. Rabia rocks!

  • I'm reading/ listening to Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson. My kids insisted. Love the series (this is book 3) but haven't made much progress recently, which sometimes bothers me because I used to read so much more.
My tbr list is so long...

Loved "When Women Were Dragons" and warming up to "The Cloisters." Took getting to page 90 to feel my brain tickle.

  • [Deleted User]telluric (deleted user)

    "Mosquito Man" -- Jeremy Bates.

  • "Atomic Habits" - James Clear; I started it yesterday. Even though I've lost 80 pounds in 18 months, I've struggled mightily to stay consistent with my fitness & nutrition routine. I hope this book helps.

  • @Calibrate715 I have the first one one. I'm going to read it soon.

  • Just finished that book I posted ("Heavy Duty: Days and Nights in Judas Priest" by K.K. Downing) yesterday, now about to start another book: "More Life With Deth" by David Ellefson.

  • Finally got shelves to put some of my books on. Probably should have gotten two of them.

  • So this might sound a little silly but I became addicted to these choose your own adventure games due to me reading so fast when I was younger lol I still read them they are on a site called choice of games and my current read is the parenting simulator lol it’s quite entertaining and I’m definitely loving it 😅
