All In the Family. Nothing else was even close.
It was before my time but I loved watching reruns of Welcome Back Kotter on Nick at Nite.
Also I LOVED the reference in the latest Ant Man 😂

For a 2000s vibe, How I Met Your Mother is fantastic in crushing the absolute loneliness of these walls.

Seinfeld, though several other great shows were named. Seinfeld’s my favorite though. I do sometimes consider going back and watching All In the Family from the beginning. Even when I was a kid I enjoyed that one.
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Everyone knows Will Smith is a master of slapstick.
Growing up it was Happy Days then MASH. WKRP next. Later Married with Children. Simon & Simon.

Mash was a great series, but it was almost too real to be thought of as a sitcom. I can recall many incidents from my year in Vietnam that, in retrospect, were just as funny, but Vietnam was certainly not a comedy.
