I met a new cuddler today and had a wonderful conversation. There is much distance between us but you can never have enough friends.

Had a visit wirh a hospice patient who has a huge collection of comic book and anime related stuff all over his house. Had a hard time communicating due to advanced Parkinsons but was able to tell me a little about them plus show off pics from where he met actors at the con events. I'm not hugely into that stuff but appreciated all the toys and things . Such a fun visit

@OhioMike and @achetocuddle thanks ! He is just in the cuddle zone there. I hated that I had to leave for work shortly after he arrived but we have about 2 weeks so lots of time in-between my shifts.
Since we met right before the Saint Louis gathering the only month we have missed is January. Either he comes up, I go south or we pick some place in between.

Today has been a rough day for me. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately. Not to be a negative Nancy but I felt kind of alone lol. Then out of nowhere someone from another site I used in the past reached out to just say hello and thank me.
They didn’t need anything . They just wanted to thank me for being there when they were at a low and honestly it really made me smile. Karma really does come back to you and it came back when I needed it the most.

My meditation last night
I have had the good fortune to smile over quite a few things today. A great cup of coffee, watching the last episode of a fantastic d&d campaign, soft kitty cuddles, and the taste of a perfectly ripe banana are just a few moments that made me smile today. I hope that everyone else has a day, or a week, full of smiles.
