When I’m in Florida for 6 months, it’s easy for me to be available at the drop of a hat but in Canada for 6 months, I work a full time job so I literally only have one or two days off a week. But here in Florida, I get sooooo many ppl booking me last minute.

@BoomerSpooner Pros are also business people and opportunists. Many of them would take advantage of a service like this if they could make twice as much. Let the market determine what people decide to do.
It might actually be a good idea to try this on the site. Basically Pros can have a regular price and an on-call price that they could adjust at any time. When they are not available, they effectively set it to infinity.
All this is doing is bringing market principles to cuddling. In economic language, this is just creating liquidity. That is, you can always buy cuddling but not necessarily at the price you want to pay.
Without this, we have what we have now. Fixed pricing means sometimes you just can’t buy what you want. Cuba has fixed gasoline prices which means sometimes there is just no gas. The US on the other hand always has gas but people have to complain about the prices.

The question "Would you be willing to pay extra for the swift snuggles of a SuperPro?" My vote: No. But they can charge whatever they want, and if someone is "desperate" (in the words of the opening post) enough I suppose they would pay as much as they can afford.
The effect this would likely have it that it would increase the overall number of cuddlers on both sides of the transaction. So it would be good for the site. The reason why this would happen is that there are probably people who say “Hey I’d do that but I’d need more than $100/hr”. There are also customers who don’t join the site because they figure it would be too difficult to find a provider. If they knew there is always one available for some price and that price is easily discoverable, they would be more likely to join. So overall, a bigger community.
One problem with the idea is that providers do some kind of screening and don’t accept every offer. It’s not like massage which is done at a business with some kind of security (not that it always works, e.g certain football player).
To get this to work well you would have to make available some kind of background check service. That and Karma could be used to set tiers. You might charge $400 for random stranger and $100 for dream clients (like myself of course) who have sufficient karma and a background check performed. You’d possibly still want to do some screening.
To keep the site from taking on liability they would want to use a third party background check service as well as buy insurance.

I think this is a good idea in theory. Pros that are doing more than cuddling or just doing it for the money would take advantage and ruin the system. Especially the unprofessional ones that don't have the customer service skills needed to be on-call. Usually those that reach out to on-call are more vulnerable so would ruin their experience. It's not the sites responsibility to formally train anyone. And like @dave31415 mentions most already are overpriced as is leaving out a huge community that need the service but arent able.
I have multiple jobs all flexible so available hours are hardly consistent. This idea seems like I could just send out a batman signal when I learn last minute I have a particular day off. But ultimately just a nice thought @TxTom Essentially we do this with cuddle request forums. But I think I know what you meant lol

@caringsoul @Lisa123 @Vianca You have stated reasons why this is a bad idea and why it shouldn’t be too surprising the idea came from a man. This would be a very easy gateway for a predator. If women only had to think like Ubers and plumbers then maybe. But we do not live in the Kingdom of Far Far Away and the plumber’s assistant isn’t there to help or save you.
But as @LadyVel said, the option is there if someone wants to offer it in their profile. I do not think this would ever gain much traction with @mark strictly based on how this could send the wrong message to the general public. Many people already hear cuddling site and think prostitution—24/7 and many will think Dennis Hof rose from the dead and bought Cuddle Comfort.
I think all of the problems are solvable. In fact I think all of cuddling problems are solvable. But yeah, solving them need to be part of the solution.
Within a decade, the much larger (black) market of prostitution will be legal. When that happens you will see the engines of American capitalism go into high gear and create products to make it safer and easier. Those same products will be usable for cuddling as well since the business model is virtually the same. Only difference is what happens in the room.
For example third party or even algorithm background check can be performed that are privacy preserving. E.g. No one will know who you were as long as someone doesn’t file a complaint or police report. All that’s needed there is trust from both sides.
Platforms for running the logistics of this business models need not mean there has to be a single community. It can be a backend service that different sites can use. Just like restaurants are all different but use the same Visa and Mastercard payment services.
I once proposed this business model. This was before Uber and AirBnB. I actually claimed that both those businesses would exist and need such a service. Everyone laughed at me. I predict lots of things accurately. Not that it does me any good.

@BoomerSpooner See above. The security problems of cuddling (and prostitution) are easily solved. All that’s lacking is someone willing to implement it. The main obstacle is actually the stigma of prostitution. If that wasn’t there, someone like me could raise capital and solve these problems.
Both privacy-preserving background checks and privacy preservation in-room surveillance are possible. Just require the right company to do it. The idea part is actually not the important part in selling a new product.
Just some food for thought
I wouldn't offer 24/7 availability for a number of reasons. 1. being safety. There's a screening process that every pro here should be conducting. No amount of extra $$ in a worth the risk of rushing to meet someone on their timeframe without proper screening. 2. Many of us already receive last minute requests to meet at a hotel at late hours with practically zero prior communication. These guys are almost always seeking SW. 3. if you start increasing your rates for last minute availability you're going to encounter far more inappropriate requests and expectations than we already do.
Those are my 3 cents.

Besides solving those problems will take time which makes the topic of this thread still pointless for several years.
@Rezz Your cents do make sense. However, I see SuperPro service defaulting to already well-established clients. It would be a special niche. The cost itself would likely be prohibitive for the casual cuddler. The SW some are seeking will simply be cheaper elsewhere.

I second what @Rezz says. The only way I would consider this is if it was with existing clients and even then I need a minimum of 3-4 hours or lead time to launder the bedding, get ready for the session and drive to my office.
