Friday was dancing with my riding group. Yesterday was brunch with a friend and then a quick ride to another friend's place for dinner and a strategy session, followed by the ride most of the way home with the other friend that was there (we split off at the freeway). The weather was perfect on the bike! So glad they invited me and got me off the couch. Today I get to see my younger son and his fiancée and we're having another friend and his son over and we're having an Easter dinner. So many smiles this weekend!

Receiving an email from my cuddling partner; we normally don't exchange emails on the weekends, but she ran this morning, and I enjoyed hearing from her after a run.

I bought a butterfly kit for my preschool class, and was fortunate enough to catch the last little caterpillar wriggling out of its skin today to form a chrysalis! I've done this almost every year for the past decade and have never caught one "in the act". So very cool!!
Being caught up on things. Good feeling when this happens. Though by the end of the week I will not be smiling anymore. Will be behind again while focusing on tons of work and cuddling.
Visiting with friends I have not seen since graduate school.
Things have been rough lately. Hate to be a downer.

We also got a really cute story to tell from it - he was in recovery from surgery and every time he looked at me his heartrate went up so the monitor beeped faster lol. Excuse me while I continue to be a mushy mess 😅
The look on my girlfriend's face when I told her that I had the tickets for the Joan Jett and the Blackhearts concert!!!!
What made me smile was going to a watch party the other night for a couple of friends who were in an episode of “Swedish Death Cleaning”. Tons of fun and I was very impressed with the results.
