Usually a bed but with one person she's got this big couch that's a bit different. But it's more comfy than you would think.

Depends on the position I think. Usually bed is the best but for some cuddling positions it is better to have a different functionality like sofa. Sitting up in bed is not the same thing like sitting on a sofa for example. It has different support points and your muscle balance is different weather your feet touching to the floor or not. At abstract level your muscles should not have any stress trying to maintain a position. Whatever the position is the furniture or combination of furniture and surrounding elements like floor or ottoman etc in use should completely support it. At least my humble experience points me to this conclusion

Bed. I do like couches though, I feel like a couch gives it more of a date night feel.

@Ripley54566 My friend has a huge love sac bean bag type chair that takes up 50% of his living room. I have been thinking of cuddling on it.
At this point in time, I would only cuddle on a bed. Since my knee replacements, it’s been hard to get up off the floor. I prefer the bed due to my body size.
Maybe a big chaise lounge couch set up where I could fully stretch out and the other person can stretch out and we both fit. Most regular couches if I lay down, I take up all the room.
@Morpheus while I always cuddle in bed, since my loveseat has a console preventing a close cuddle anyway, there are plenty of cuddlers who say in their profile that they like to cuddle watching TV, so a couch/loveseat would be most appropriate for that.
My couch is the size of a Queen sized couch
If people want to cuddle with the dog - I let them do so there but the bed is for us 🥰
