A genuine question using a hypothetical:
If religious Group A is celebrating its tenets with extra special focus at a particular time of year, are they truly, positively celebrating their own beliefs if at that time they're also wishing ill will upon religious Group B, who celebrates different tenets?
It seems to me, this is how endless, reciprocal, multigenerational strife occurs.

@TxTom if in this analogy the point you're trying to get across is that Pride Month is somehow othering and causing strife to non-LGBTQIA+ folks or non-allies....
Until one group stops dehumanizing, taking away human rights of, murdering, r*ping, forcing into conversion therapy, denying jobs to, and excusing away hate crimes committed against the minority group - then yes, a special time of year for visibility, awareness, celebration, and discussion is absolutely necessary. It's the same reason Black History Month, Women's History Month, and AAPI Months must exist in our culture.
Sure, in an ideal world everyone would be equal and we could just quietly celebrate in our own way... But we do not live in an ideal world.

@TxTom There are unfortunately groups whose beliefs require oppression or elimination of certain other groups. It may be a very harmful celebration, likely to incite violence, but technically it's still a celebration.
The real question would be if they have the right to force their beliefs on the groups they want to oppress or eliminate. I wish everyone could say no, but I know this is not the case.
