It's interesting how transphobic hate always seems directed against women, not men. As if it's just cishet men angry that women might not have a vagina they can use.
For the people interested in understanding, the gender dysphoria bible covers the various different types of gender dysphoria. Physical dysphoria is only one type. Social and existential were also pretty big for me.

@Unscented_Lemon It’s interesting. You’re right. FTM trans hate isn’t as prevalent. I think a lot of homophobia and transphobia comes from deeply closet and repressed gay feelings (See DeSantis, Ron : Governor of Florida). . Many a trans-hating dude may in fact be troubled by his attraction to some trans women.
I’m sorry any trans person or any member of LGBTQ+ community is made to feel hatred when all they want is to live their best, happiest life while doing zero harm to none
I’m always going to be standing with and fighting for LGBTQ+ community and their right not to be made miserable for being proud of who they are.
And as a former member of service, and a deep patriot, I know that defending their rights, freedoms, access to care and ability to live peacefully is a hell of a lot more American than hating them.
This thread is about celebrating those in the LGBTQ community, not a debate about how you feel about the community. Go back to your home on troll Island you tiny little creature.

It's easy for me to ignore the troll. All I have to do is see that he's just spewing all the usual Fox "News" propaganda bullshit, and I just laugh and move on. Small minds like his need to put other people down in order to feel big. His mind is made up, and he will not be swayed by the facts.
I do appreciate all the people I see here speaking out against hate. You're all wonderful people. And unlike the troll, you're all wonderful different people.
@Mike403 In this day an age, ignoring the trolls and hoping they go back under their bridge just doesn't work anymore. As evident by what went on in the middle of the night, they are going to keep coming back with alt and/ or new accounts. Our country is more divided than ever, the temperature keeps rising and voices get louder and refuse to stop. It's a sad reality, but it is what it is.
The very existence of this Happy Pride month thread is what triggers them in the first place, and just PROVES why it is still needed.
I believe the trolls are trying to get this thread to spiral into a heaping mess so that it is locked. Please report the trolls and allow them to be dealt with and try, as hard is it may be believe me I know, to disengage them and not allow them to get what they want. This thread should be here, and deserves to be drama free

I take heart in knowing that every homophobic and transphobic attack just creates more allies. There's plenty of good people who don't understand the need for Pride Month because they can't imagine this type of hate. Then they see it, and understand.
