That doesn’t realky bother me but I do think approach can get better responses . Just like a sales persons approach can be off putting . My biggest issue is if a new potential client want to set up an appointment they want it now and won’t have any type of conversation that helps the vetting process . In general it’s nice to introduce yourself you get better results . It’s a buisness that is intimate and about connection . I’m not just being hired to be a warm body next to you .
i agree cuddlebugTM, i just think the honus should be on the cuddler, not the cuddlee. for example, i just today responded to a message from a professional in which she answered my question about her service, and followed it up with a personal question. now, of course, it goes both ways(i don't want it to come off as i'm cold in my messages) i'm just saying, if someone ever told me i couldn't inquire about her services in my message, she wouldn't get my business.
And just like their are difficult clients there can be difficult professionals . Customer service is important for good buisness . But I never subscribed to the customer is always right . I will try my best to acomidate with in reason but I also have my boundaries as well .
@undercoverbrova I’ve been seeing pros for a long time and it’s all really not a big deal. Most of them are quite nice and polite. Setting up sessions is generally not all that difficult. Once it hits a level where I consider it too much work, I just stop and move on to someone else.
I would rather have clients that are enthusiastic about me and the service I provide. This isn't and will never be a source to supplement my income, because of this freedom I can be as picky or complicated as I choose. If someone doesn't show any interest in getting to know me online (email, text, skype) Im pretty sure meeting them in person is going to be about as fulfilling as our conversations leading up. I am not a cuddle vending machine, you cant just throw money at me and expect a prepackaged, cookie cutter experience.
@PlushyProzac Preach!!!
i hear you @PlushyProzac , but it's still that person's hard earned money, so they'd expect the enthusiasm to go both ways.
Here's an update from the original poster. Still no response from any of the Cuddlers I messaged. However, I did hear from one Pro I did not message. She saw I had looked at her profile and sent me a one sentence message saying "Do you want to book something?". I responded asking if we could we get to know each other a little first since her profile was just one sentence and she had no friends or karma. That appears to be the end of the conversation. She has been online since and never responded to me. I did get a message from someone who just saw a posting of mine in a forum, she liked what I said, checked out my profile, liked what she saw and we have been corresponding back and forth ever since. Success? Well, kind of, but she lives in another state, so no cuddle possibilities there.
Pro who do it that way I feel are unprofessional . I usually just say hi to those that visit my site . If they respond chat a bit . If they ask to book I’m open but I enjoy chatting and having the community . To me that would be such a turn off . Now if they said hey Just thought I would say hi and let you know I’m doing a special this month if you ever want to book a session consider me ... I would be ok with that . It’s less intense and just sharing information .
I agree with @cuddlebugTM arranging a cuddling session even with a Pro is not like a standard financial transaction where you are buying a product for money, it's more like when you are searching for a therapist to help you work through personal problems, you interview several, try to find one you are comfortable with and can have a relationship with. I would be asking myself, is this someone I can share my inner thoughts and feelings with? is this someone I might want an ongoing relationship with? I don't ask myself those questions when I'm buying a shirt.
Yes !! If it was just like any other transaction I wouldn’t do this . Even with a therapist you have an assessment to see if you are comfortable with the therapist and if they think they can provide what you need . Vetting is basically the same things it’s not only for the pro but to connect with the client to see if this would be a good match for th Intimacy of cuddling . We just don’t charge for that like a therapist does .
Paying someone to cuddle doesn't mean you can treat them like a commodity. There are factors like personality, connection, trust, and rapport that really go a long way in making it a good session so its smart for the client to pay attention to these factors as it will naturally be a better cuddle for them.
Hey guys, each pro is different! This is one site with tons of professional independent contractors, each running their own show as they see fit. Some are brand new and trying to get their bearings, so they may need to ease into cuddling someone they don't know. Others have lots of experience and are actively working. As a pro with experience, I can emphatically say that I prefer the messages that are focused, clear and direct. I am providing a service as a professional. Booking with me should be fast and easy. The only information I need is that you are of age and able to honor my boundaries and guidelines for a session. Otherwise I'm good, let's get cuddling! I don't like to complicate the process. While friendship and emotional bonds inevitably do tend to develop over time, that is not a prerequisite for me to work with someone. In my eyes, all people deserve love & closeness, so making that accessible to others is my number one mission. But remember, each pro here is different, this is just my approach! Good luck on your journey, it's just a matter of time before something wonderful comes through!!
@JRose , love your response. Accepting and understanding of other people operating different from you. Refreshing :-)
@ubergigglefritz yeah! Feels great to live and let live, doesn't it?!
@UKGuy it is worth mentioning that many new profiles never visit the site again. I find the site has a high incidence of new profiles that never return. It is likely many of your non replies are in this category, so do not be put off by these. I guess these are people that are interested by the concept, but decide it is not for them.
thank you JRose. that's all i'm saying. it is still a business transaction. so let's get the business out of the way first, so we focus on the rest.
@undercoverbrova - I actually agree with you (definitely, not on the shirt comment though!) I feel the same way. Send me a message telling me what you want then let's get to know each other while we figure it all out.
@alexb - I think you hit the nail on the head, I just looked at the last time the cuddlers I contacted were online, somehow I overlooked that before. Only 3 were last online within 3 months, 7 were last online a year or more ago. I should probably just delete those conversations and start again.
@JRose - you have a fair amount of information on your profile which eliminates the necessity of back and forth messages. The Pro that contacted me had one sentence, no friends and one karma from someone she never cuddled with, so in that case I felt it necessary to request some more information.
