Totally lost track of time...got on my laptop after dinner to review a few remixes and 3 HOURS LATER I finally logged off! Going to have lots of great party music - lots of familiar favorites from the 70s through today. For example just working on a beat-to-beat remix of the #1 1975 hit "Love Will Keep Us Together" with one of the biggest summer songs of 2022 "Sunroof" and it works!
I even missed tonight's episode of BIG BROTHER because I was so wrapped up in rehearsing! Oh well, it will be on Paramount+ tomorrow morning

@Mama_Bre good thought. Speaking for the other hosts for this we are providing some basic foods and drinks , think picnic 🧺 style. I feel if someone has allergies hopefully they can bring something for themselves. We will also have a donation jar 🫙 if peeps just want to share that way 😊🌹. Ive mentioned this earlier but there is a really nice Kroger’s near the park of roses if peeps want to pick stuff up on way to park 🥀
@OhioMike since having kids and school parties..etc I'm use to thinking about allergies and normally stay away from anything that has the normal allergy items in it...like nuts.
@Mama_Bre i can understand that. Yeah the community has done a pretty decent job keeping food away from other foods on tables and labeling things that could have allergy ingredients like nuts etc. meet n greets seem to bring together some super nice peeps to them 😊🌹

So I don’t know if this needs to be on a different thread, but I was wondering about get togethers before the big event? I am driving in Thursday and heading home Sunday and it would be great to meet up with anybody who will be in town early Thursday night or Friday. Any thoughts on this?
@Spud424 my co hosts and I were talking about this last night. @KozyKim @Shake49 and myself are having a very informal gathering at 6pm in the Hampton Inn Lobby 3160 Olentangy River Road Columbus Ohio 43202. I know Kim is bringing games to play and we will order pizzas or something like that when we figure out who is all coming to Friday night shenanigan's at 6pm. There are quite a few members who are staying there including myself, as it is close to the park of roses 🌹
some other "housekeeping info" here is map of park. There is only one single road in and out of park so if you are navigationally challenged and get lost just wow! 😂 as you can see on map the only road going in and out is called Hollenback road. As soon as you pull in is the Whetstone library. If you want a clean modern bathroom experience use the ones at the library. The rest of park has porta-potties if you don't mind using those. There are only 2 Picnic Pavilions in the park and we are the first one. And its closest to the roses 🌹🌹 As you can probably also see there is lots of close parking.
Also still a little early for weather reports but we been having a milder, wetter summer than I am use to lol. We are holding event rain or shine as the pavilion is rather large and built with a lot of concrete. In case of some super serious weather we can all bolt to the nearby Whetstone Shelterhouse which is essentially a house lol. That's where the indoor wedding receptions are held. some more pics of the Picnic Pavilion we have reserved....
