@ashlyn83 Thank you and yes not only is it a shame but it just makes it so much harder for the people who are putting in the efforts to actually be noticed. All too often a message can get overlooked when it is part of the flood. As @Eileen_98144 mentioned though....you are still more likely to stand out when someone sees and appreciates the effort.
@ashlyn83 - What if they're deaf?
@Mike403 If they are deaf and blind, I am sincerely hoping they have already had arrangements to accommodate these. If not, I am always open to suggestions! 😅
@Mike403
If they are deaf and blind, but somehow managed to find this site, create a profile and agree to the TOS , they are already utilizing some outside assistance or an aid.
These people can construct a message but not read a profile? No it's just laziness and lack of courtesy for those they are trying to connect with.
@Rezz - I wasn't being serious.
@Bear You might wish to add cat allergy to your profile if that is a problem.
It will never cease to amaze me how many times I have to relay information ℹ️ already stated in my profie ….. but I guess to each their own as “they” say. 🤷🏽♀️(since we can’t enforce users to have to read our profiles.) Individuals who read profiles will be most likely to receive cuddles over those who don’t.
@ashlyn83 - Touche!
Excellent point! I enjoy reading the thoughts people share on their profiles and have often learned a thing or two!
I love the little red notification circles that show upon log in, but it's just a bit disheartening when I discover that the sender seems to have skipped relevant details listed in my profile. I still usually answer, but it doesn't "hit" the same..
Great advice and thanks for the examples!
Thanks for joining me on this, guys! Appreciate the comments/feedback/tips! Stay safe out there!
bangs head against wall for yet another person responding with shock and disdain that I only do public cuddling, just as my profile states
~ Sunset Snuggles
@SunsetSnuggles - Public cuddles in a park on a blanket is just as good.
@Mike403 Spoken like a man with platonic intentions. Thanks for being upstanding, sir!
I think it’s great you enjoy cuddling in the park.
I don’t think i would. I’m not necessarily against it, it just doesn’t sound like it be a comfortable situation for me.
@BashfulLoner Public cuddling could also be in a double recliner at a movie theater, etc. My initial comment was in regards to people not reading profiles, because so often they are shocked when I clarify that I only do public cuddles, even though that's the only option listed on my profile.
@BashfulLoner @SunsetSnuggles - I wonder how many are genuinely concerned with comfort and not have non-platonic intentions. Everyone involved needs to feel comfortable. Bring a sleeping bag and think of it as "camping".
@Mike403 It's usually pretty easy to tell the difference between people who are socially uncomfortable cuddling in public but still care about their cuddler feeling safe, versus those who pressure you to come to their place, won't stop asking even when you've made your boundaries clear, or instantly stop communicating.
I've met both types, and those who are shy to be seen in public will usually admit so upfront and try to brainstorm ways that both parties can feel comfortable. I was also shy about public cuddling at first, so I totally feel for their apprehension.
@BashfulLoner I agree. I will meet for a chat and coffee but I bypass all cuddlers who want to do public cuddles. It is just a preference and as you cited, comfort is a thing. If they want only public cuddles I am doing them a favor because we will not be a match. I would pay for a pro before an enthusiast who only does public cuddling. And I get some only do it because of anxiety over non-platonic intentions, but there is anxiety in public cuddles for me and I am sure others as well. I am not desperate and I will not endure avoidable anxiety.
I chalk preferences up to not everyone is everyone’s cup of tea.
@BoomerSpooner - Most guys can't get an enthusiast to cuddle with them at all... or even respond to them. Cuddling in the park is not a problem for me at all especially if it's non-transactional. It will also have the most value to me. She could be doing anything she wants but she chose to cuddle me.
Reading is fundamental.
@Mike403 I have cuddled several enthusiasts and not one said they needed to cuddle only in public. My point is there is always someone to fit you.
Good for you that park cuddling works for you. The rest of the world is not you.
I don’t enjoy the public gaze, that’s all. I wouldn’t be able to relax enough to enjoy myself in a park. Also critters and the such. @Mike403. Specifically in the park, i think public depends on what that means to the person, so I’m open to considering public.
To the folks who said the profile-non-readers are unlikely to read the forums... you may be surprised how many of the complainers and trolly-now-banned members likely did not read people's profiles, or selectively read them.
How do I know? At least 2 of my selective readers were formerly frequent posters and are now banhammered 🤣
The issue isn't just not reading....it's also reading comprehension, which is a skill some lack and some choose not to use or to misuse.

The mods are like:
Lol i love these discussions. IMHO the serious people coming to a site like this are looking for more of a theropy than a meetup. As such it is important to find someone compatible with what you seek, and hopefully you are looking for how you can help them too.
For me i just love to be with people and laying on/around each other. I am married but my wife is doesnt know the physical language. Sometimes its so fulfilling for to be touched and caressed and having someone pay attention to you and communicate in your own language!
I consistently have to ask, “Have you by any chance read my profile?” I had someone get very upset and say, “Isn’t this like Tinder? Look through photos and find someone you like the look of to snuggle up with?” 1. No. No on so many levels. 2. There Is so much more to things than “liking the look of someone.” If I do not feel I can meet a client’s needs or we might not be a good fit, I do not take that client. It takes conversation more than “Hey,” to reach that point. I’ve had so many people think that they can get around my safety protocols because they say, “I’m safe to be around.” 🤦🏼♀️ The absolute worst inconvenience for both parties is when someone requests booking without reading. This leads into a very uncomfortable conversation for both people. Don’t do it; read profiles. Pretty simple!
@JustPlaneCuddle - I never used Tinder, but what kind of dating service is only pictures without any profile bio? There is a lot more to somebody than what they look like.
I've never used Tinder either, but I'm pretty sure I've seen videos about ridiculous Tinder profiles.
That guy must have just been as oblivious about the tools of social sites as most people are about the various functions of the copier at work. When someone isn't forced to use something, they tend to see it as not worth the bother to learn.
