My glasses broke Any wizards around that can do that Hermione glasses repair spell for me?
Whatever happened to that annoying, smiling paperclip that would pop up when you needed help?
@TxTom - Because of that I have a fear of paperclips.
@TxTom Clippy. He’s gone underground and is gathering a AI robot army.
@TxTom Hmm maybe I could use a paper clip
@Jova114 love that reference
Oculus Reparooo
Actual witch here! Wish I knew that spell, though. 😋 Best I can do is an abundance spell to get you more money to get them fixed. 🤣
@PixiePassions Did I mention that I've got lots of glasses in need of fixing. Lots.
Drawers full.
Boxes and boxes of glasses.
@stormydaycuddle Glad you do 😁
@teddybear888 Yes that's the one!!
@PixiePassions Oooo I mean I do have bills so that could work too lol
@PixiePassions speaking of… I need my third eye back. I got some future to see.
@TxTom - I got you, boo. 😘👓😝
@Jova114 - Boom. 😋
@teddybear888 - It's waiting for you! 🕉️ 👁️ 👀 👅
@PixiePassions 😁 That means you're a good witch!
@Jova114 - Absolutely. 😇✨🧹🪄
@Jova114
I’m very sorry, but magic is not real.
Maybe, if we are incredibly fortunate and humanity survives it’s technological adolescence, then one day there will be nanotechnology and/or molecular replication technology that will be able to be used for repairs that will certainly SEEM magical, much like communications and computers seem magical today.
In the meantime, you are usually best served by getting a backup pair of glasses, and the warranty.
Lol @TxTom
Americas Best magician
No wizard but I have a pretty great beard
@CharlesInWI did you know that there's a tech problem with hiring Gen Z for jobs that include creating or repairing hardware tech. Most of them think their iphones are magic. They have nothing that breaks to put back together. No video game cartridges to blow on. Nothing to shake, repair or replace.
So my point is...depends on who you ask. lol
@natickben just checked your profile and you are correct. Its hard for some people to grow them.
@stormydaycuddle
I’m a fan of Arthur C Clarke.
“The Three Laws:
I) When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
II) The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
III) Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
I wish I could help. I’m more shamanistic. I did just buy my own deluxe eyeglass repair kit with lots of different screws and multiple screwdrivers. That doesn’t help you here though. A paper clip or toothpick may help. Or even a bread tie
I'm personally a fan of believing in both science and magic. 😋 I believe they co-exist or even that magic has its own science to it. I've listened to people in the science field who are also spiritualists. Quite fascinating stuff. ✨
Hopefully you'll never do what I did once and attempt to fix bent glasses by...bending them the other way.
*accurate reconstruction
@PixiePassions that video was INCREDIBLE.
@CharlesInWI There is too such thing as magic
@Bear I could use a repair kit like that lol But for now I used super glue.
@Jova114 , you're absolutely correct, magic IS real.
@AllAboutSoul It has to be!!!!
Only the card game, various entertaining performances that rely on clever props/psychology/dexterity/performance skill, and Earvin Johnson Jr.
Everything else, sadly, is mystical thinking, which ultimately, painfully, and often disastrously, poisons everything.
((( HUGS )))
On the plus side, that we are here at all and enjoying the wonders of being alive and conscious is so mindbogglingly improbable that most humans simply shout, "It's MAGIC!", before they get completely overwhelmed and collapse in an awestruck meltdown.
