  • @Minestrone101 "you're leaving us?"

Just for like a minute or two, I should be back before y'all's next blink lol. On a serious note though, I'll likely be gone for a good minute after the next few days. Though I look forward to coming back sometime. :)

@TR23 Wow that's really tough and understandable! I'm glad you found such a wonderful and accomodating cuddler.

"...If there is still tremendous misunderstanding of needs from someone like my Dad, then it poses a much greater challenge for acceptance from people that don’t fully understand that you have disabilities."

    Ain't that the truth?! 🫂

Your comment about the acceptance and the accomodating you found in that cuddler reminded of a time I needed massage therapy. Which just so happened to be one of the parts of me that I feel self conscious about. Although, I didn't feel as self conscious about it as other parts of me, I felt so comfortable with the massage therapists I had! I've the same experience with my current dentist and his office too, they've been awesome! I know these experiences don't necessarily translate to the same level of acceptance in social settings, though it counts for a lot. :)

I too have physical disabilities. What started off as drop foot has progressed into what, we yet don't know. Both legs are a mess. I have to use a walker. I also have some mental health issues. I go through bouts of serious depression. It starts off as anxiety which is the period in which you can't have a conversation with me. I got to that point because someone has pushed me too far in one way or another. I won't let you talk and I will yell at you. These are usually personal with someone close. Then I slip into major depression. Headed their now. As for my physical, back to it, I cannot get anywhere without a walker. It is embarrassing for me. 1 and a half maybe two years ago, people would bitch at me because I walked too fast. Now I am lucky to get from one side of the room to the other. The only thing that has changed is how much a cuddle. Rarely now. And this is when I need it the most.

iam a cuddler with a [physical disabi;ity and have been omn CCfor a long time. Overall, enjopy the experirnce of cuddling and enjoy thodese cwho I have cuddled with.

  • I am new to the site. And I have to say that I have noticed that not all people contact you back. I have to I have a disability that is not visible all the time. So I have a lot of issues with even just sending a message by email ,texting, or especially by phone. Because I can’t speak loudly enough for people to hear me speak.

  • @Lovelight we'll miss you! You give a fresh perspective on the forum! :)

  • I used to be bone on bone with my knees before I had both knees replaced. So I couldn’t really walk far without paying. Plus it was hard to get up off the floor. Now I’m OK walking I still have to build up my endurance. I haven’t been active so I have actually Gotten worse in regards to physical activities. I found out the hard way. It’s hard for me to get up off of a non-carpeted floor because as soon as I get on my knees, I have pain from the implants I guess. I had to shimmy from my kitchen to my bedroom on my butt to be able to get on my knees on the carpeting and then use the bed to get up. The best part was because I was on the ground, Princess came and started giving me kisses and I just gave her big hugs.

Also, because of my body size, I have to be careful what I sit on in regards to chairs and couches.

  • I'm not disabled, but I will say that my first cuddle partner was a guy who is disabled (he resides out of state) and we only met and cuddled twice. 😊
He was a sweetheart and respectful, he found himself a girlfriend in the end. So we're no longer cuddling anymore, I cuddle with men who want to cuddle with me if said man is disabled in one way shape or form then I shall make necessary adjustments as needed for him to be comfortable while cuddling.😊

  • I guess in a way I could be considered disabled.

I was born with my chest going in like a bowl. It only worsened as I got older. Around 14 they cut off my breastplate and flipped it around. I have nerve tissue damage on my chest so anything too heavy touching makes me very uncomfortable.

  • @Jova114 So your chest plate is like Daffy Duck’s beak which is pretty cool.

  • @BoomerSpooner
Lol not as versatile im afraid

  • Cuddling itself is generally pretty conducive to my disabilities, I only really host at the moment so I have access to my mobility aids as needed and that helps a lot, so the biggest struggle for me is finding cuddlers who fit my covid safety requirements 🤷🏼 For those of us in the higher risk categories it's still an especially serious danger and that doesn't mesh well with most people's lifestyles and that's just a fact of life until we get a better handle on things medically as a society.
