It’s not a scam site, actually. I’ve ordered a couple of things that were inexpensive, didn’t need high quality. Took about 3 weeks to arrive. No problems at all. Just keep your expectations in order, price matches quality.

To clarify I've never used them just wanted to share that there the accusations since it's a widely used site. Though admittedly it is likely due to certain people within the company and not the company itself

@sweetcuddler88 It was a response to the video I posted in the initial post . I had seen a couple other headlines saying the same so thought I'd post about it. Which people on here like yourself have indicated that they have had decent enough experiences so that's good to hear .

I remember someway tried to scam me on a friend site. I turned it around and said I was gonna fly them on my jet plane, but since they couldn’t send their drivers license, I couldn’t trust them. As soon as I said, jet plane, they got very excited, lol
I never have or will buy from TEMU.
I do not like their business practices such as selling at a loss to buy market share and the way they monetize your data. But my biggest problem with them is some of their labor practices.
I won’t derail this thread by elaborating further but if you are interested, a Google search for “TEMU labor practices” will tell you all you need to know.

Seems I actually have to do my own research/ experiment.
Just so everyone is aware, Temu is a child company of Pinduoduo who was recently kicked off the app stores for installing malware on consumer devices. I've learned to stay away from TEMU, Wish, Shein, etc. simply because their business practices are so beyond what is ethical imo 🤷🏻♀️ They're fast fashion/consumerism at their worst... Even worse than many of their brick-and-mortar counterparts that are notorious for treating employees poorly. I know from living in certain areas that sometimes personal economics and local availability mean having to compromise... But I decided I'd draw the line with the worst documented offenders.
