Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism. Kinda scary!
@cuddlefaery I was reading the ACOTAR series too! How far have you gotten? I liked the 1st book, loved the 2nd book, the 3rd book was okay (the beginning and end were good, but a lot of boring filler in the middle), but I just couldn't get into the 4th. I think it's lost its momentum for me. I cheated and looked up the summaries for the 4th & 5th and decided I'm all set. 🤷🏻♀️
Reading ---> The Boys in the Boat
@KPSM glad to find a fellow fan of the series! Thanks for the tips on War and Peace also.
I do like the Napoleonic era but my reading in it has been limited to the Sharpe books and playing Empire Total War. Enjoyable but I’m sure sensationalised.
(Edit oh and actually some of the Master and Commander books, those are good also)
Alice in Wonderland
My palm. I have many cuddles in my future.
“End of Watch” by Stephen King
"Of Lands High and Low" by Martha Keyes.
Very interesting read, has a lot of information about fairytale, and the like.
Barely started but I love this series so far.
@TeddyCuddle45: I enjoy books like that, and enjoy reading fairy tales and academic books about fairy stories. One if my favorite books on tbe subject is J.R.R.T's "On Fairy Stories."
I think I'll have to check out your current read once I'm done rereading "The Spiral Dance." It looks like my sort of book.
I like learning new things or random facts, so what can I say. But the history of stuff is always so fascinating
