    @coolguy19850101 because men don't get enough cuddles, that's why. It's the men that put in all the hard work while women sit back like queens in their thrones watching all the desperate peasants beg them.
  • [Deleted User]SnuggleSymmetry (deleted user)
    We guys pretty much do all the messaging while women receive them.
  • Obviously we don't let women message us. we suppress them,, don't give them a chance, mean bastards who snap mean retorts at them, just read the other posts in the forum. We're even that way to the one who take money from us. Is it any wonder?

    : - ) @ SnuggleCub ......
  • Bottom line, It's because women as a class do not view men as fellow human beings and wish to maintain psychological control over the male gender.
  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)

    @snugglecub..... you are much appreciated.

  • @docgatorb I hope you are being sarcastic, but I fear you are not.
  • [Deleted User]SnuggleSymmetry (deleted user)
    @snugglecub The Queen must of knighted you Sir Snugglecub the White Knight.
  • @snugglecub whilst i agree with most of what you say, the entitled part grates me a little. It seems you are coming from the left, the other lads are coming from the right, so ill see if i can take the middle ground.
    Men send more reauests for two reasons.
    1) men need affection and cuddles too. And whether men are casting a wide net or not, doesn't make them entitled or desperate.
    2) messaging women first is the inherently masculine thing to do. It is the online equivalent of approaching a woman at a bar.
    If you were at a bar would you expect a woman to approach you? Probably not. Treat it the same. I don't see it as an issue at all. Its the same on dating sites.
    Ive had chats with women about this before and thats basically their sentiment. Yeah some women will message you, but many women see it as the mans role to message first. Fair enough

    @ docgatorb
    @InactivistJedi
    Are you guys getting together and forming the butthurt group? Seriously. Why don't you guys cuddle each other since you clearly have a distrust and maligned view of women.
    @snugglecub is spot on when he says you guys are complainy, how can you guys actually expect any ladies to want to cuddle you with attitudes that denigrate their gender.
    @docgatorb you seem like a self professed smart guy, so why don't you explain the concept of occams razor to the other guys, and then perhaps we can apply it here.
    Logically speaking, what is most likely? That 90% of women treat men like shit, that they sit back and let men do all the work and want us to be subservient? That they are ignorant, vindictive, sadistic, and don't give a shit about men?
    Or, perhaps, the reality is that you guys merely have this perception of women? And it could be a contributing factor (if not the main one) as to why you are not having success?
    Learn how to take rejection guys, and you will have a healthier outlook for it.

    I am pretty sure that Doc is being highly facetious....   : - )
  • @Arielle thanks, i picked up on his sarcasm haha :-)
  • [Deleted User]SnuggleSymmetry (deleted user)
    @NinjaTurtles You really need to shh. Nobody cares what you have to say on the matter.
  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)

    @NinjaTurtles : I care, and I think you see clearly!

  • [Deleted User]SnuggleSymmetry (deleted user)
    Except maybe the women who you are white knighting for.
  • @SS lol. You are too funny mate. Im not white knighting anyone, because im sure the women on here are more than capable of sticking up for themselves.
    All I'm doing is calling you out on your bullshit.

    @Arielle thanks :-)

  • [Deleted User]SnuggleSymmetry (deleted user)
    @NinjaTurtles Keep hiding behind a no pic profile. No one invited you to join this conversation. You think that you're something for criticizing what others have to say in these forums.
  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)

    Thumbs up for Aussie men!

  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)

    1) Public Forum

    2) No White Knight needed.... but...

    3) Personable, mature, mentally healthy men and women always appreciated.

  • Wow, just wow...some of you people sound like those pathetic bitches you get on Facebook who get screwed around by like 2 guys and suddenly rant about how all guys will mess girls around, except vice versa. Obviously not including in that @NinjaTurtles, @Arielle, maybe one or two others, you people are cool. I don't know if some of you have just had bad experiences with women or something but kindly please get your heads out of your asses, neither gender is any better than the other overall, and FYI, telling people who call you out on your bs that their opinion isn't wanted, that no one invited them, hate to break it to you but it just shows how wrong you are as you can't think of a decent comeback or defence, and it's funny that you probably don't even realise that.

    Quite frankly, if women read these comments and then don't respond to your messages I don't blame them, I actually respect women and I do get messages back, see how that works?
  • [Deleted User]Sunflowerfield (deleted user)
    I think it's probably because in Western cultures, it's a lot harder for men to get platonic, affectionate touch. I think women tend to be more affectionate in their same sex friendships, but it's more taboo for males. I can understand why a lot of guys would experience more touch hunger because of this issue.
  • @SS you make a perfectly valid point, i mean how dare i call you out on a public forum on which I clearly wasn't invited.
    How dare I, "a something for criticising what others have to say" carry out my heinous act of criticising you for putting women down, shame on me.
    And really, you got me, im just hiding behind a no pic profile. You caught me lol. Im just a little keyboard warrior, a rascal.
    Its cute you actually cared enough about this encounter to check out my profile. Kudos to you. Would you like me to put up a pic so you don't feel threatened or perhaps you just want to cuddle me lol.

    @willmot2k10 touche
  • @snugglecub Despite the fact that we live in a post modern world where classic gender roles are challenged more and more, where we strive for equality, there are still gender roles, perceived or otherwise, conscious or subconscious.

    I respect most of what you say, but the fact that made you cringe tells me you didn't understand the point i was trying to make.
    'Treats women as things to be "acted upon"', seriously dude, you have completely taken that out of context. Nowhere in what i said, was there any implication that women were "things" to be "acted upon". I can't speak for all women, but of the women i have spoken to on this matter, all of them have said they would prefer the men to initiate contact. Not that they wouldn't initiate contact, but that they PREFER it if the men do.
    I used the bar analogy to try and highlight my point, as its probably best observed in the dating scene.
    I can also tell you, that as a single male who has tried online dating, the amount of times women have initiated contact would be maybe 10%. I have even experimented, and not messaged matches, and guess what? Nothing.

    Anyway, if you still feel that way, perhaps you can run a poll to see if women prefer men to initiate contact or vice verca.

    Both NT and SC ^ 1. I didn't criticize women, just pointed out the fact that they have it easy while men have the difficulty of messaging and getting rejected most of the time. Just pointing out how it's in reality even though it seems like complaining. I even added humor by comparing women to Queens and men to peasants. You guys ^ twisted my words and tried to turn this on me. Btw, my first cuddle through Cuddle Comfort was from a young woman who actually messaged first. Yes, women do message first sometimes though rare. @Sunflowerfield 2. That's correct.

    @NT- Just saying that you're hiding behind a no pic profile anonymously while trying to criticize others.
  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)
    When someone (man or woman) joins a site like this, they are putting out a public invite for people to message them. That's what this site is about. They should expect to receive messages, and not label as "needy" or "pathetic" anyone who uses this site for its intended purpose.
  • @SS you are right in that we may bear the brunt of more rejections, but i feel this i simply because it is more likely men that will try to initiate first contact.
    One thing that women do have to worry about when meeting men online (which men rarely have to worry about when meeting women) is the issue of safety as well, which makes sense why they would need to be more discerning
  • @SS im not hiding behind anything mate, and its not my aim to criticise others.
    I am on this site, like I hope everyone else is, to make connections, find a cuddle buddy and spread good will. It was actually my first time posting yesterday, and i did so because i perceived done comments to not only be delf defeating, but derogatory to women.
    Im just curious, why someone who is looking for a women to cuddle, who is lacking that intimacy with a woman is also going to put down the gender.
    I initially grouped you with those other 2 guys, perhaps you are not like them and were just making jokes.
    Either way, the point of this site is to share experiences and good vibes, so lets all just get along :-)
  • It's really hard to joke around and have fun on here because there's always someone who thinks you are being serious, but then that happens in real life sometimes too.
