@bobadevotee I'm not usually one to drag authorities into it but that is pretty close to a threat, and banned members are absolutely not allowed at meet and greets. You might consider asking for a cop to chill in his cruiser at the meet and greet. They do that sort of thing when people suspect an altercation.

It definitely shows me everything about his character when this is his response to me saying “I am bold and I will say what I mean to your face” Not just this “wow look what people say when I’m not around to defend myself” self pity nonsense he was on. His response to someone saying they would call him out to his face is thinly veiled threats. 🤔
Btw this is what we deal with constantly via DMs, and mods see all these types of things behind the scenes. That’s a huge reason these forums are annoying as hell because so many guys here try to minimize or deny what the women on this site deal with. Or act like concerns women have, the red flags we have been trained to spot, are just paranoia or overthinking
I’ve had so many men here get angry and try to bypass my safety precautions with the reasoning of “I don’t want to be lumped in with rapists and it’s messed up of you to pre judge me”. 🙄 Yeah uhhh I’m definitely going to pre judge internet strangers very heavily. Stranger danger. Especially here, a site where MOST men using it tend to be trying to take advantage of women or hurt us. A site where I see women recount horrifying experiences of being stalked or assaulted by men from this site EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK.
Would be GREAT if guys stopped being personally offended by women’s safety precautions and instead tried to understand why we take such precautions.
And trust me, he’s been reported. But please be careful if you’re going to that meetup, because I’m not the only one he has threatened. He seems to plan to go to the meet, and nobody will even know since he’s a faceless profile. Just goes to show how easy it is for anyone to make a profile here, see info about events, and show up to cause harm. We’d be a lot safer if they did ID checks on this site because then you would have a record of someone’s legal name, and thus be able to ID them at a meetup and keep them out.

The above is clearly a threat of physical violence. And it's always taken seriously.
