Random profile visits?

  • @Achterbahn 😄 I believe it. Perhaps @Mark can shed light for us.

  • Now you're really drawing the attention with a post about it. 😬🙃
Plus the awesome pics! You have to be way more boring if you don't want attention... 🤗

I think many of us use this as a social media type thing and scroll and explore around and see what others are up to. ☺️

  • Great way to get more profile visits, make a post about profile visits and bam, you’ll get visited more.

  • @Morpheus New Pro's do that on purpose all the time...subtle advertising. Mods send their booties to the Pro Requests forum, right quick. 😆

  • @Achterbahn Oh I give up...I just got messaged by another Muted member and they don't show in my visitor's list, so now I don't know what to think. 😆

  • Hi I’m Morpheus and I’m a…. Oh wait that’s a different group 🙄

  • Short answer to OP, yes.

  • When I first joined as an enthusiast, some started to chat with me that were far away. I’m like, “why?” I was more looking for a local cuddle. (I was also looking to immediately cuddle. I’ve learned a lot since those first days.)
Now, my mind is much more open to the possibilities of connecting many more ways. People do travel, so there is a chance I will meet people that are far away. There are also phone calls and video chats/virtual cuddling. So now distance doesn’t stop a connection. (@Zionscalling, yes, I did switch over to pro.)
I do wish I had kept those earlier messages on here. Yes, I did clean some out. At this point, I would feel very comfortable connecting to the people from my early days on here. I’ve definitely grown a lot as a person and a cuddler. :)

  • So what? Sometimes I'll just click around when I'm bored. There is a stream of random profiles that comes up. Travel a lot so sometimes I do a bit of pre research. Just a way of killing time and sometimes finding a cuddler I might see down the line.

Some people act like viewing your profile is this huge deal, guess what, it's not.

  • I somewhat agree with the person above me (in a slightly less snarky tone😬).

It could very well just be random or they’re about to be in your area soon. Or, like others said, it could be the fun Star Trek photos you have!

    I completely agree with @wilderdude

There’s a pro in LA who if you look at her profile more than once without booking her, she blocks you. I don’t get it lol

Yep, have also seen one whose profile says she will block you if you message two times without booking a session. So many wildly varying expectations on this site.

That's like Apple blocking you from ever buying their products because you looked at their ads more than once and didn't make a purchase yet.

  • I have clicked on profiles where the name of the city is in my area only to find it’s actually a city in another state. You really discover how many city/town names are in the United States. The other option is people planning a cuddle session for a future visit to that area. I guess everything else gets lumped into curiosity based on the photo.

  • If you see me lurking, it's because I'm interested in seeing what other peoples' profiles look like lol. I'm always nervous about writing profile stuff without seeing how other people present themselves first.

  • I mainly get visited if I write on forums. The other odd times are from people nearby or people I have visited.

I don't visit many profiles and generally don't click around on random profiles unless I am in random mode which isn't often. Even then I will randomly click on only a handful of profiles at one time. And often I am doing that because I am trying to see how well a profile has been put together and whether I think it is genuine or not. It helps craft future judgements.

  • GUILTY AS CHARGED. LOL. I do it if someone just catches my eyes for what ever reason.

  • There aren’t many locally for me that are active and have more descriptive profiles.

So I enjoy browsing those that get featured as pros, enthusiasts, and online. I will click on profiles that the photo catches my eye, the name stands out, or the location interests me. I’ve often picked profiles just because they are from a city I’ve been to or would like to, but have no set plans to travel there. Some countries naturally cause some curiosity too.

I enjoy longer and more detailed profiles. I’ve read some and thought “oh, that sounds wonderful.” Sometimes learn something new or that would like to try later. I have send messages to some just complimenting aspects of their profile and will saw their profile featured but not traveling to their region.

  • If I click on such a profile, it’s because I was swiping quickly and saw what I thought was someone local. For example, if I see a profile when I first open the app that says “Brentwood”, I may not even stop to think that there’s more than one Brentwood, and that might end up being the one 2,950 miles away lol

Thanks for all your input/feedback everyone :3

  • My area of Texas is a cultural hub as well as one of the most traveled airports and convention centers. I receive profile views and session requests for people from all over that happen to be in the Austin area. Pretty sure if you’re in a major city with a large airport nearby, you’re going to received a few on a regular basis.

  • @MrP82 this stream made me curious and I just checked out your profile. I believe it is natural for people to get curious. I would take it as a compliment. If people randomly visiting your profile or reaching out to you makes you paranoid or distrusting you may want to think of a different way to connect with people. Social media and especially cuddle services takes a level of trust and comfort interacting with strangers. If the worst thing that happens to me is random people out of my area checking out my profile or messaging me on my cuddle comfort account I consider it a good day. Just ignore them or maybe message them and make a new friend.

banned member just come back under a different username and email. They don't ask for ID. The only one it actually might affect are those who want to keep their karma. Happy Cuddling to you all

@pty1999 not at all, it was just something I was curious about, thanks for your feedback though, you make an excellent point 😊

Had a re-think here with relation to my earlier comment, there was two factors I missed out. One was memory. Mine is patchy at best so I may visit your profile a dozen times (OCD) to check whether I've visited it before. The other is memory. Because I might see your profile pic and the thought process in my head goes something like:
1 - There is a beautiful or interesting person in that picture.
2 - Click on picture to enlarge.
3 - Oh yes, that person looked nice or interesting or strange or like that person I used to know.
4 - I've seen this face or background before.
    5 - I've visited this profile before.
    6 - I'd like a cup of tea.
7 - Have the election results come in yet?
8 - What day is it?

I apologize to anyone thinking, 'who's this weirdo who visited my profile a dozen times'.

Some people change profile photos every day and I’ll click on it thinking it’s a new person because each photo looks like a different person. Pro’s who block people for looking at their profile a few times got issues.

  • lol. I thought I was the only one like @zerolight40. That's happened with me multiple times.

  • Until this thread popped up i didn’t realize that people obsessed over who visited their profiles -

  • @jillyain
    The more you know ...

@Bear Wait so I’m not the only one? Oh, that’s a relief! B)
