Dog Cuddle vs Human Cuddle

Not being all there mentally--I always have crazy thoughts and you poor souls are left with addressing the topic--should you dare!

As a person with experience, umm I can say my coon hound certainly loves cuddling (or shes trying to push me off the bed) but as a nice as her cuddles are---there nowhere close to human contact!! Wow--that must be the reason I am here! I do want to say that I have seen a few profiles where the cuddle session includes a pet as an added option--thats a threesome cuddling session I wouldn't mind! Thoughts! No need to tell me--I know I'm nuts.

    This is just my opinion and it may prove to be unpopular but dogs are like kids—I adore mine but not so fond of sharing my time with someone else’s. Just my opinion. I wouldn’t thrust my dogs on someone and expect someone to cuddle them with intensity.

    Two pros that hosted me had a cat join us. One of them told me I was the first one to allow it. Kinda sad.

    @TheFunCartel That other guests of hers refused to allow the cat in bed. Is what I was referring to.

    @Sooson I wouldn’t either. I am not a cat person. I look for a pro as a person and I book with one I like. I am not there for a package deal with the rest of the accoutrements of her life. I feel no obligation to cuddle with her animals. To me there is no shame or emotion to that because I did not sign up for it, and I doubt they looked at it as sad.

    @TheFunCartel ok I get you, and I respect that. I just love cats so much. I can't say no to that, and it really didn't take away from the experience.

    A side comment: when I made my first comment, your first comment that now shows 4 minutes older than mine, wasn't there (I swear, I might be childish, as pointed out earlier, but I'm not crazy) had I seen it, would have probably altered the exchange between us. I've noticed that few times recently. it can cause issues and misunderstandings, as if we don't have enough of that as it is.

    I really think it's the animal that chooses to cuddle with an owner's quest---and personal would feel honored if they picked me

    I have a puppy, she is as sweet as candy and she loves to cuddle - but people come over and pay me to cuddle with THEM not my dog, so I take her to the dog park before I cuddle - every single time, then I hide a few treats for her to find and I tell her to get in her crate and she is a happy camper until my session is over and I let her come say goodbye to the guest.

    Dogs are awesome so are cats, but they are dirty - and they typically have some sort of odor no matter how recently they have been washed - I would not want to have a cuddle with someone else’s pet. So I would not assume anyone would appreciate me bringing my dog into the mix.

    I prefer dogs to cats. I do get excited when I unexpectedly get to pet someone’s dog.

    Regarding adding to the cuddle mix, I tend to agree with @jillyain. I don’t mind a greeting from a friendly pet, but if I’m there for a cuddle I’d prefer to cuddle the person booked with. If I’m paying for a pro, I don’t want to feel like I’m paying to cuddle their pet since that would be awkward.

    One lady I cuddled with had a cat. If cat behaved well it was alright to stay out and occasionally say hello to us cuddling. No objection from me. If became obtrusive or awkward, then got put in the other room.

    I like dogs and dogs like me, but I don't cuddle with animals.

    So far, this is a very interesting and enlightening post. I love cuddling with my dog, yeah, it usually turns into me caregiving to her, lol. Lately she has been more attentive and when I'm feeling down, she will get up from the foot of the bed where she sprawls out and do some stretching, and then come up towards my face and give me a kiss and, check on me. Sometimes she will just lay her head on my shoulder as a sign of support. Sometimes show nudge me, and I will start petting her. If I start petting her, she forgets about why she originally came up to me and flips over on her back and an awesome belly rub. Considering she was an abused stray I really love how vulnerable she lets herself be around me.

    As @FunCartel_ Says, dogs are like children. You love yours yet it different when somebody else's are over. This was even true for myself recently. I only see my girlfriend every other month and she came in town recently to visit. Princess would come up between us for snuggles, and we would both accommodate her. my Girlfriend wasn't in the mood as much as last time I saw her for cuddling. She wasn't feeling it and I felt envious of Princess, but I had to respect her boundaries.

    I enjoy cats, but I wouldn't want to get a probcuddler with somebody that has them because I am allergic. It would be different if it was somebody I had as a friend, I would definitely be more accommodating in that aspect.

    @dennis22554 i'm always honored when a new pet comes up to me in general for petting. They don't know you and they are opening up enough to let you in.

    @Sooson I think that's happened to me before. The timestamp and such with postings.

    @jillyain Your puppy is adorable. When I used to go to Cuddle parties the one apartment that would host, One of the roommates had a dog that they would put in the cage during the party. When the color party was over and the people who would help clean up were there they would let him loose. He was adorable.
