It doesn't realy take more than two people for "such things" to happen. I would not assume that a double cuddle is non platonic. Ive seen some pros offering double cuddles. Not sure how often they actually occur.
Why would the addition of another person change the intent ? If that were the case then every facilitated cuddle party would be like Caligula
I wouldn't prejudge on double cuddles and not say a word about cuddle puddles/ parties. I'm not sure of the appeal but i don't want to assume.
Being middle spoon (with AC and a fan) is heaven. Being biggest spoon or littlest spoon is fun too, but I love me some middle spoon time. I just overheat so damn easy with my heat intolerance 😞
There's also more ways to cuddle than spooning. You can make a triangle of heads in laps and comb each other's hair with fingers/scalp massages. You can backrub train. You can puppy pile. People really miss out on so much fun and comfort by being so uncreative. Humans have more to them than torsos and arms, and arms can do more than just wrap forward around a torso.
I do double cuddles (I call them cuddle puddles) all the time. Lots of ways to enjoy snuggles with three people.
One lies on their back while a person on either side snuggles into them. You could have a spooning train. Each person switches up to see what it feels like to be big spoon, little spoon and middle spoon. Mama bear is a good one. One sits up against the head board while one lies their back against you and then the third lies on the second person 😄
Honestly, I could keep going lol. There are soooo many ways to enjoy cuddle puddles 🌸🌸

I'm an enthusiast and I feel like I would enjoy a cuddle puddle with like minded cuddle partners who would be open to the same. Sounds like just what the doctor ordered about now.
I have done a double cuddle with two professionals and it was a great success. I know other professionals who have done it and reported a similar outcome. There are numerous positions you can do.
Cuddle puddles, with three or more people, are popular at cuddle parties/workshops. There is no more reason for such a thing to become unplatonic than there is with two people.
I believe double cuddles are fairly uncommon. My experience was that it was great, but not worth the money. It costs twice as much obviously, but isn't twice as good. If money was no object I would do it again, but as a special occasion not the routine thing. You do lose a certain level of intimacy which is only possible with two people.
If you're an enthusiast and interested in doubles/small group cuddles, and you don't have a friend group you can invite to join you, you can try looking for a local cuddle group to attend events. From there you can make cuddle friends and then plan your own double cuddles, etc.
The difficulty with adding more bodies boils down mostly to logistics, and with pros that's going to lead to higher costs. Some pros work together and coordinate so that they can offer discounted double cuddles as a special service, but you're likely only going to find that in larger metro areas. Otherwise you are trying to coordinate 3 busy calendars, 3 sets of boundaries, 2 professional vetting processes, etc.
Of course, the "easiest" way is the "if you build it, they will come" model - start hosting your own events. Note this is not suggested for inexperienced cuddlers. Be mindful of any local laws, the trademark on official CuddleParty events, and whether or not some training on group facilitation may be in order. When you host events, you become liable for what happens at said event to some degree, so it's a good idea to learn the ins-and-outs of event hosting. But hosting is a great way to meet people, including new cuddle partners.

I did my first pro double cuddle around 2016. It was nice having the attention on myself, especially not too long after my mom passed away. It was a great way to take care of myself.
I have a friend that has a lot of ailments and myself, and another friend cuddled with her because she enjoyed when I did texting cuddles. She was able to feel more relaxed, having us on each side of her. It definitely did a lot to help her. Being caregiver by nature, I end up connecting with other caregivers in general. It always feels good when you can support each other.

I've done double cuddles before and they are blissful. I think I'm the only person that has brought their cat to a double cuddle with @Sheena123 (& my partner).
They usually start out as a cuddle sandwich or a set of nested spoons and result in an oxytocin overdose. Plan for at least 2 hours and change positions occasionally.
If you're double-cuddling with your partner and someone else from the site, do the respectful thing and keep the interactions with your partner platonic so as to not make the other cuddler feel awkward. Check in often with everyone to make sure they're ok.

I'd never thought of a double cuddle before, but I'd be totally up for it. Sounds nice. Love some of the ideas of a scalp massage triangle or being a big and little spoon.
@cheeseboy well, if we're including our cats in the mix... I haven't brought my cats to a cuddle, but they've certainly inserted themselves 😅 especially Middle Child ™️ who thinks he is a dog and everyone's New Best Friend. I always make sure cuddle partners are ok with cats before I have them over because I know it's likely Jinx will appear. The other two are more wildcards, as they're more shy with strangers but the nature of cuddling and being laying down can sometimes lure them out.
During a few of our cuddle parties we've definitely had all the animals join in on the puppy pile 😁 4 cats (two of whom think they are dogs), a 100lb German shepherd mix (who thinks he's a cat), and 6 or so humans trying to fit on a king size mattress is a fun game of cuddle Tetris 🤣
I could definitely go for some cat pro cuddle combos with side order of big spoons
I've cuddled with 2 other friends before and it was fun but never have as a pro here. There are different cuddle positions that work well for 3 or more people and some like spooning can work well with any number.
Hello! I am a pro who offers double cuddles and I can only speak for myself and my cuddle partner. We are 100% platonic and expect our client to be the same way or at least respect that. We usually like the client to be in the middle of the cuddles whether it be spooning or have the client laying on their back with us on both sides of them.
We have had several clients express their interest in this and we have found we feel safer with the other one there as well.
