Curious About Pricing Filters and Rates

I'm just wondering if there's a filter to search based on price?

Some cuddlers are a bit too expensive for me 😀. I’m not comfortable spending more than $125 for cuddlers who look very young. I'm not sure why some charge $200 - I agree experience matters, but I've seen some new professionals also charging that much. I know it's none of my business, but I'm just curious why 😂

  • Right at the top where it says cuddlers there's a spot for filter. Then you have to go to the bottom and I think it's advanced filters for price.

  • Oh yaa, thank you. I checked advanced filters but missed looking at price. I was expecting some kinda slider which allows to check range. My eyes all were on UI rather than checking descriptions
    Thanks again @Bear

  • @hsa987 youre most welcome. Just put the dollar amount without a $. I occasionally have to go back and put it in because it seems like it will refresh with no limits.

The reasons why Pros charge what they do is as numerous and varied as anything could be. And not all the reasons have to do with supply and demand.

It's a benefit to the cuddle community and to the clients that there isn't any standard pricing, or unionized rate.

Looks like the search filter needs some love. It doesn’t give me results

  • Try 130. It Only works in multiples of 10

  • Shopping for a professional cuddler is kind of like shopping for a professional mechanic. They have different base rates as well as things included in the base rates.

Some of the cuddlers could be based in their price off of looks and such, which doesn't really make a difference. Some could be basing it on what they value their time. Some could also be using different things for ambience like music or a star projector or candles or similar. One thing I've never done is asked them why they are so expensive. It would be an interesting experiment. You could also ask for discounts and such

  • No cuddle is worth $200 an hour. Please do yourself and the rest of of us a favor and don’t pay these inflated prices.

    @Morpheus PREACH!!!

  • I strongly disagree, @Morpheus

Someone with the financial means to do so, who also doesn't enjoy much of a social life, or is so eccentric to not have many friends (think millionaires), could easily find a $200/hour cuddle well worth it.

  • Ditto. Plz don’t be paying $200 an hour for a cuddle.

  • Don’t be paying $200. By Friday it will be don’t pay $150. By next week don’t pay $100 By mid week next week don’t pay $50. And by next weekend don’t pay anything!!! Cuddling should be free!!!! What a slippery slope pricing comments are ☹️

  • @hsa987 welcome to CC and more importantly welcome to the CC Forums where the topic of pricing of professional cuddling and even thoughts of charging for the service, may be met with interesting responses. 😩

  • I agree. Everyone has their own pricing and it’s their wish. I believe prices might increase because new professionals tend to set their rates based on what others are charging, and this trend is difficult to control. While not everyone will do this, the majority might follow suit. Personally, I budget a specific amount for cuddling and would prefer to have ten sessions a month at a lower price rather than four or five at a higher price. Pricing can also vary based on location, setup costs, or individual financial situations. Ultimately, I prefer to avoid high rates, as spending $200 for an hour of cuddling doesn't align with my preferences

I use my phone to check CC, which doesn't display rates unless I open each profile. This leads to my question: how can I filter out professionals who are outside my budget initially? Thanks for the answers; I'll be happy to search for pros who offer their services and visit their profiles directly

  • Many things are up for negotiation as far as a session with me goes. I want the cuddler to communicate what their needs are to best meet them with great service. I value my time and quality. You should get the level of quality you pay for. My advice is to be specific about what you want out of a session. Some are willing to negotiate so ask. It never hurts to ask.

  • @OhioMike I so value and love your seasoned cuddler comments! I'm rarely on these forums, as I'm usually busy seeing clients or doing the mom life, but when I do, I sure love seeing yours!

    🎯🎯🎯🎯

  • Don't pay a price you don't want to pay, and don't try to stop other people from paying prices they are willing to pay.

  • @Bripic

    It never hurts to ask.

This is incorrect. There are MANY pros who flat out say "THIS IS MY PRICE, Don't try to negotiate" in their profile. They ARE offended and will stop the conversation. It's nice that you won't mind someone trying to negotiate a lesser amount, but many Pros will walk away.

  • I would never feel comfortable asking for a discount (that a Pro doesn't already offer on her profile).

  • $69 dollars is the sweet spot imo. 👍👍

I chatted with a pro once who charged what seemed to be an exorbitant amount, even given her location. She said she was happy to just have a very small number of clients.

  • Aside from "OMG that's way too expensive!" I wonder what other reactions to pro prices are. How many people assume there are illegal "extras" when a price is above a certain threshold, and what is that threshold? What do people think when a price is unusually low?

  • @SnugglyChelle I can’t speak to those who charge a lot, other than I do not assume they give extras. Everyone deserves the benefit of a doubt until proven otherwise. However, on the lower end of pricing many pros start out low to get quick karma and build a rep and clientele. I have known quite a few that started at 40 or 60 an hour and now charge 100 or 125 an hour.

Bottom line for everyone—a pro never charges too much if there are people willing to pay it. Also, who cares what one charges? If it is too expensive for you then move on.

Yeah I am not a fan of the low key slut shaming when it comes to people's rates . I think the hope for some is that if they can create this stigma about it the pros will feel compelled to keep their rates to what they would prefer them to be. I think it's a bit manipulative myself. You just can't assume things based on price alone .

  • Hmm... if I came off as "slut shaming," I apologize. Not my intention.

  • @SnugglyChelle
You didn't. It's just a common theme among people who make comments about prices being equivalent to prostitution. Some folks make these comments because they want pros to feel shamed for their prices because they think it will drive the costs down .

  • @pmvines Gotcha! Just wasn't sure if I had crossed a line. I've seen it come up at times and just wondered how common that mindset is. I hadn't considered it as a manipulative tactic, but I totally see your point and how it could be used that way!

  • @SnugglyChelle
Like @OhioMike said. It could be 20 per hour and people would still find a way to complain lol
